Special Tribunal for Lebanon Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare didn’t disclose during his meetings with Lebanese senior officials if Pre-Trial Judge Daniel Fransen will issue new indictments in the attacks on the three officials that have been linked to ex-Premier Rafik Hariri’s murder, As Safir newspaper reported on Friday.

Miqati Says Cabinet’s Term Linked to Stability, Disputes Will be Resolved

Prime Minister Najib Miqati stressed that his cabinet’s term, is linked to its capability to preserve stability, according to newspapers published on Wednesday.

Report: Fransen Setting Stage to Issue Indictments in 3 Cases Linked to Hariri’s Murder

Special Tribunal for Lebanon Pre-Trial Judge Daniel Fransen has made a progress in preparing the indictments in the assassination attempts of MP Marwan Hamadeh and ex-Defense Minister Elias Murr, and the murder of former Communist party leader George Hawi, Lebanese sources said Friday.

The informed sources told pan-Arab daily al-Hayat that STL Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare has referred to Fransen his probe into the three cases and that the pre-trial judge is preparing the indictments pending their release.

Charbel Denies Reports Saying STL Investigators Requested Fingerprint Records

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel denied on Thursday that the investigators of the U.N.-backed court probing the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri requested the fingerprint records of some Lebanese citizens.

“What some media reported that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon investigators requested the fingerprints of some Lebanese, is not true,” Charbel told al-Manar television.

Ban to Discuss Syria, STL in Lebanon

U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon's fourth visit to Lebanon, which starts on Friday, is expected to focus on the controversial Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) and the deadly crisis in n Syria.

A government source told Agence France Presse that Ban was expected to address Lebanon's duties to the STL that has charged four Hizbullah operatives in the 2005 assassination of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri.

Report: Hizbullah Rejects Renewal of STL Protocol but Miqati Stresses Limited Lebanese Role

Hizbullah has informed Premier Najib Miqati that it rejects the renewal of the cooperation protocol signed between the Lebanese government and the Special Tribunal for Lebanon but the PM stressed that Beirut has a limited role in this matter, a Lebanese official said.

The official, who was not identified, told pan-Arab daily al-Hayat published Sunday that the Hizbullah stance was made during a meeting between Miqati and the party’s chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah before the holidays “because it believes that the cooperation protocol contradicts in some of its articles with (Lebanon’s) sovereignty.”

Report: Lebanese Authorities Questioned Brothers of 4 Hariri Murder Suspects

The brothers of four Hizbullah members indicted in ex-Premier Rafik Hariri’s assassination have informed Lebanese authorities that they don’t know the whereabouts of the suspects, pan-Arab daily al-Hayat reported on Sunday.

The newspaper said the involved Lebanese judicial and security institutions questioned in vain the brothers of Salim Ayyash, Mustafa Badreddine, Hussein Oneissi and Assad Sabra.

Berri Expresses Relief over Association of Banks’ Announcement
