Moussawi Slams Hariri, Says No Place for him in Ongoing Battle in Region

Hizbullah's Loyalty to Resistance bloc MP Nawwaf al-Moussawi said on Saturday that the developments in the region are more important than those who are seeking to entertain themselves on twitter.

“Those who are seeking to entertain themselves (with the developments in the country), or on twitter… have no place in this battle (that is going on in the region),” Moussawi said.

He was hinting to former Prime Minister Saad Hariri who has chosen the social networking website Twitter as a comeback tool to reach out to followers.

Hariri has been absent from the country for nearly eight months.

“Who wants a place in Lebanon has to stand against Israel and the United States’ domination over the region,” Moussawi said.

The Hizbullah MP wondered if the Lebanese are alert to the dangers of a civil war in Syria and its repercussions on Lebanon.

“A group in Lebanon is betting on the foreign intervention and the regional developments to restore the power they’ve lost,” Moussawi stressed.

He slammed the March 14-led opposition stances, saying: “The goals of the U.S., Europe, Israel, and Gulf states in the region will affect mostly those who are betting on the success of their scheme.”

“The price of this impossible success will cost them high.”

He noted that the western countries are not seeking to implement democracy, freedom or reforms in Syria but “to replace their loss in Iraq.”

Moussawi warned that if the U.S., France and Israel couldn’t control Syria then they will seek to create a civil war there.

Sorry Moussawi, you're the guy without the clue. You really should get your nose out of articles written by Michael Chossudovsky. All of your statements and Hezbollah's statements on the current state of affairs in Syria and the region come straight out of the Center for Research on Globalization.
http://www.globalresearch.ca/
Mr. Chossodovsky is an economics professor in Ottowa Canada, the son of a Russian Jew, Evgeny Chossodovsky.

So you see the connection everyone. The world view of Hezbollah is the same as that propounded by a Russian Jew. Hezbollah stands with Syria as does Iran. And the greatest defender of Assad is Netanyahu, who needs the Alawite protecting his northern border right now.

It is all a terrible game and trick being played using the Iranians to assist the Israelis against the Arabs, by trying to save Assad who has made it his job to kill Syria Arabs. Assad is the agent of Iran, the partner of Israel.

Just look at him slamming the US and dressing like one, having a American hair cut, western glasses and well trimmed beard!... Mr. Moussawi...Enough hypocrisy. It is a blind stance like yours that has led to the demise of Syria. Shame1

Wake up idiot, you are falling, the regime in Syria is falling & Hizballah will be eliminated absolutely. Now you don’t have allies except iran, go there, it is an advice,
I am from shiite community, but I am done from your policies, and my loyalty is for Lebanon & not for syria, Iraq or iran.

These thugs only push people around because their guns. Why don't they pay their electric bills if they are such big men? Big men don't live like beggars.

It is amusing when you read comments about how the american have lost Iraq , all they wanted from invading that country is the oil , so rest assured that not a drop of oil will be pumpt , or sent any where without american aprouval. Outside of that all comments and claimes are for locale consumtion only.

Make no mystery about this :
-They are subjecting Saad Hariri to the same constant tracking they "offered" to late PM Rafic Hariri until the minute he was executed.
-Additionally, this time (a first?) I am reading that they intend to deliver right-to-existence indulgences, solely -mind you- to those who "HAVE TO STAND against Israel and the United States’ domination over the REGION"..Read:Those who do not relish defending Iran.
Add this to that, and you get the very same Syrian regional recipe for dominance that innocent and brave people have been subjected to for decades, and are half way in their painful effort to shake off.

Here are some facts: You were raised on Hashishe all your life planting it secretly in the Bekaa Valley until you find a new master in Iran who made you a salve under the slogan of Fighting Israel and a robot to them to attack the Jewish state when they push your button, you belong in Jail for undermining the Lebanese state by accepting foreign money and arms to create a state within a state, not to fight Israel but to be a robot for a foreign NON-LEBANESE power, when you executed in 2006 and the entire Lebanese state paid the price instead of throwing you and your master in Jail because you were the root cause of the massive destruction of the Country once called Lebanon, you chanted that you won the war against Israel, the next time you do a similar 2006 which I am sure you will based on the recent developments in Syria, every single Lebanese will fight you because You are the enemy of the state and not Israel by keeping the status quo of your state within the state.

Missing people-power 20 November 2011, 04:01

Moussawi, maybe you haven't read the news lately, so I will give you an update. The "battle" going on right now is the people against their dictators.

Didn't anyone tell you about the events in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Syria? After Syria, Yemen will be next to fall, and eventually the fire will spread to Iran too. The Iranian people are learning from what has occurred in Libya and Syria. They will be more prepared next time. Snipers and basij violence won't stop them like last time.

You should also rethink the regional situation. The whole Arab League is lining up against you and Bashar. Only Iran and Israel want Bashar to stay in power. And if you look at the demographics in Syria, it doesn't look so good for your team.

I'd like to know how you measure success at war. The US crushed Saddam's military in 30 days, after Iran couldn't beat him in 8 years. It took a while to establish a democracy, but now Iraq has democracy and the US can leave with a victory. Compare you war in 06
