Report: Damascus Says it Has No Interest in Weakening Miqati’s Cabinet

Syrian officials have informed Lebanese Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn that Damascus is keen on supporting Premier Najib Miqati’s cabinet and has no interest in weakening it, As Safir daily reported Wednesday.
The newspaper said that the Syrian officials, including President Bashar Assad, told Ghosn during talks they held in Damascus on Monday that Syria “has no interest in weakening it (the Lebanese government).”
Syria “backs everything that consolidates Lebanese state institutions,” they reportedly said.
Informed sources also told As Safir that during his visit to Damascus, Ghosn reached an agreement with Syrian officials for the country’s two armies to consolidate coordination in certain issues that would lead to the control of the border and the prevention of arms smuggling.

The filthy Syrian regime hasn't any much time nor power to strengthen or weaken anyone! The Iranians and a few Lebanese politicians are the only last people on earth to listen to assad.
It is sinking deeper everyday, and won't be able to breath anymore soon!
It is only struggling for survival at this point!

Yeah, that is why they invaded my country, tortured and kidnapped Lebanese, stole my country's wealth, forced their way of political life on us, shelled us, destroyed our homes, smuggled weapons to terrorists, etc.etc.
