Berri Slams March 14 Stances on Security Council Statement

Speaker Nabih Berri said that the March 14 forces have lost control over their nerves, stressing that disarming Israel and not the resistance must be a national aim.

“The real danger is the Israeli greed and its wars against Lebanon… Disarming the Zionist arms not the resistance is an urgent national goal,” Berri said on Monday at an Iftar at BIEL.

He urged the cabinet to accomplish the decrees related to the oil, before Israel takes advantage of the situation.

Concerning the March 14-led opposition’s stance on the Syrian developments, Berri called on it to stop helping the West against Lebanon’s neighbors and the Arabs.

He said: “They were shocked by the pioneering role that the cabinet played at the Security Council, which facilitated the release of a balanced statement.”

“Lebanon remained loyal by disavowing itself from every Arabic conflict,” the speaker noted.

Berri criticized the March 14 forces saying: “Ask your masters at the Security Council about Lebanon’s stance, and be sure that all your accusations will fall.”

“This propaganda (you’re following) made you lose your nerves, this is the truth,” he added.

The Arab council member Lebanon has disavowed the U.N. Security Council statement condemning Syria saying it would not help end the crisis in its neighbor.

“Lebanon remained loyal by disavowing itself from every Arabic conflict,” the speaker noted.

LMAO.... hehehehhe..... you gotta give it to this guy! He is a master at manipulation and lies, the fox of all foxes, a Pro, an authority on corruption and deceit. What about your personal stance at the security council and that of Lebanon regarding the Libyan resolution that authorized the use of force and laid the foundation for the invasion? Was it not Lebanon who almost single handedly drafted the resolution? Were you not giving the instructions to your foreign minister by the minute?

Enough said.......

"Speaker Nabih Berri said that the March 14 forces have lost control over their nerves"
It seems to me that the whole M8 Coalition is losing it's nerves. M14 is standing on the side of justice, not to mention the right side of history, as time will prove.
Your monopoly over the speaker position will soon be over, and the final republic in Lebanon will begin, and you, sir, will be relegated to the trash cans of history, along with every other stooge in your camp (bar Aoun, he will be in cushion walled white room in one of our hospitable mental institutions)
Your time is coming, and you know this, that is why YOU are nervous.
This is the truth and you know it ;)

The true enemies of Lebanon are The Iranian regime who wants to turn it into a mini Islamic republic and the Syrian regime who wants to annex it. All others are a lot easier to fend or deal with.

First, someone should advise Mr. Berri that not only the West, but Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have protested Syrian butchery by withdrawing their ambassadors from Damascus. The US Ambassador Ford is still there.

Second, please Mr. Berri tell me how Lebanon will "disarm" the nuclear armed Israeli military?

And Third Mr. Berri, but for the Iranian IRGC brigade known as Hezbollah that has been transplanted into Lebanon, there would be a peace agreement between Lebanon and Israel and the international waters dispute could be resolved in a civilized manner before the World Court in the Hague. But as it is, because of your dear Hezbollah, Israel can drill, but no drilling company would touch the Lebanese fields out of fear of military action between Hezbollah and Israel. Because Hezbollah runs Lebanon and the only policy it knows is that of its weapons, their use or threat of use. They are barbarians of the first order and are retarding Lebanon's growth, not contributing to it.
