Former Defense Minister Elias Murr announced on Thursday that a detailed indictment in the investigation into his attempted assassination will be released soon, reported LBC television.

He made his statements after holding talks with a delegation from the Special Tribunal for Lebanon delegation and General Prosecutor Saeed Mirza, which he described as “a secret meeting.”

Informed sources have denied that Syria has sent to Lebanon for the second time arrest warrants against 33 Lebanese personalities in the lawsuit filed by former head of Lebanon’s General Security Department Maj. Gen. Jamil Sayyed.

The sources told al-Mustaqbal daily published Tuesday that Syria only sent a detailed document on the identities of the 33 figures. They include judges, security officers, politicians, journalists and other Lebanese, Arab and foreign officials and individuals.

Judicial authorities completed the report that will be sent to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon probing the assassination of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri, before the end of the indictment’s specified timeframe on August 11, An Nahar newspaper reported on Monday.

The daily said that the report includes a detailed presentation of the efforts made by these authorities and the Lebanese security apparatuses in tracking down the four suspects named in the indictment issued by the STL.
