Drug Smuggling Attempt Thwarted at Airport

Security at Rafik Hariri International Airport thwarted on Friday an attempt to smuggle narcotic pills abroad, reported the National News Agency.
It said that eight kilograms of captagon pills were found in the possession of two Syrian travelers.
Investigations are underway with the suspects.

benzo: no fneish's case was totally different, he was caught selling counterfeit pharmaceutical products from china. nothing to do with recreational drugs and drug dealing.

you tell us to grow up but you have the most childish approach of politics. we all "think lebanon" but then what? shouldn't there be some political programs? some teams entrusted to drive them? can't just say "think lebanon" and forget there are different parties, different visions and as citizens we must chose.
and if you're not happy with either M8 or M14 then create a third solution, whining is not productive.

Isn't there a correlation between all the increase in crime (including drug-busts) and the number of Syrians in Lebanon? Never one to be Xenophobic, but looks like we need to limit the Syrian people coming into Lebanon... oh and the pills too

Yet another article about drugs that seems to attract many bloggers and commentors... What is the secret I wonder? Let me Guess. You are all users. Thumb up if you agree. Time for parliment to vote on a reform for the drug policy and decriminilize soft drugs tax it and control it. This will creat revenue for the indebted state and maybe the Arab countries where those drugs where going to will attract tourists that would like like to come to our sacred valley and light one up. I can think of a nice moto for the tourist ministry right now "Lebanon where the power might cut off but our joints stay lit 24/7."
