Hizbullah MPs Slam STL Funding, Say Without Resistance Sharon Would've Been at Baabda
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةLoyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hasan Fadlallah said Wednesday that for the first time in Lebanon a government was formed away from any foreign interference, adding that the cabinet formation disappointed Washington.
“The U.S. will not find partners to cover up any security agreements,” he said during the second day of policy statement discussions at the parliament.
Fadlallah said that the cabinet has huge responsibilities and the Lebanese are depending on it.
Concerning the indictment in the probe into the assassination of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri, the Hizbullah MP noted that “there’s a national unity over (revealing) the truth.”
“Shouldn’t those keen on revealing the truth be also keen on preserving the national contract?” Fadlallah wondered.
He refused any attempts by the cabinet to fund the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. “No to the tribunal, no to funding the court.”
The MP said that “the main goal of the March 14 coalition is to “hold onto power.”
Fadlallah addressed Miqati saying that “you are inheriting a heavy legacy; However, we trust that you can bear it.”
He defended Hizbullah’s arms, urging the state to remove all private weapons held by the citizens. “All arms should be targeted against Israel to defend Lebanon.”
“Had it not been for the resistance, (former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel) Sharon would have been at Baabda Palace right now,” the lawmaker added.
Another Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Fayyad said that the cabinet will not “collapse” and the policy statement will not be modified.
He said during the discussion of the policy statement at the parliament that the Bristol meeting held by the March 14 forces was an indirect invitation to the Arab world and international community to boycott the cabinet.
“The invitation to boycott the government belongs to the no-state logic,” Fayyad remarked.
The MP said that “Miqati’s government is not one-sided and it abides by the requirements of Lebanese national democracy.”
Fayyad stressed that the Resistance was formed because of the ongoing vacuum in international justice as the international community did not assume its responsibilities towards the Lebanese people. Now it is seeking revenge against the resistance simply because it defeated Israel.
Concerning the international tribunal, the Hizbullah MP confirmed “the STL as a just cause, but it is being used to create harm.”
Hey ugly duckling, get a shave. In 2008 you got confused and thought Sharon was in Beirut so you slaughterd civilians just so your fat rat towelhead can stay in Baabda. Stop smokinbg hashish
During the 2006 Israel war on Lebanon, I personally saw MP Fadlallah at the lobby lounge of the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut. He was laughing, talking, drinking, eating, while Israel was bombarding Lebanese civilians in the South, the Bekaa and elsewhere in the country. Is this behavior what Fadlallah means by "resistance?"
**He defended Hizbullah’s arms, urging the state to remove all private weapons held by the citizens.**
So no weapons for honest Lebanese citizens just for Hezbollah.
“All arms should be targeted against Israel to defend Lebanon.”**
Except when you are shooting Sunis in W.Beirut you mean, as in 2008??
do u care so much about baabda?
so u give us the choice, sharon or khamenei in baabda, during the darkest days of the middle east, lebanon managed to keep it's 10452 safe while all the counties surrounding us were loosing territories and face??????now,u are our darkest days but BILAD EL ARZ WILL PREVAIL,AND IS PREVAILING,UR DAYS ARE THE SAME AS THE DAMASCUS REGIME.
n.b. if u don't buy a tie, the rope is on me.
Why don't any of the Hezbollah guys not wear ties...Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has outlawed ties in Iran...maybe they do it as a tribute to him.
IDIOTS! YOU ARE LEBANESE NOT IRANIAN!
look, someone got traitors on the loose again. hi shab. mossad promised you weekend house in occupied palestine? hi bashir. didn't learn the lesson about what's happening to people having same name as you and colaborating with zionists?
The resistance is an honor to every true Lebanese citizen.
I think its in the Lebanese blood that the Lebanese would do anything to harm each other's interest. What a shame.
The israeli do not fear the Lebanese army, because they control the weapon supply to it. They only fear the resistance because of their lack of control.
As for Rabih Moukarzel, i think being at the reception of Phoenicia is much more respectable than an MP from the future movement who was playing cards on the beach - In Arabic, khalas m3ash nzeyed 3ala ba3d and grow up.
I agree about the pathetic and disgusting look of all hezbollahs.. why no tie? I do not understand this iranian fatwa that ties are banned, but they wear western clothes. They should shave, and wear ties. The shador is another import from Iran. we never saw shadorrs pre 1980 in lebanon.. and Shia women always shook hands, even if veiled..now they don t ..again an Iranian import. we can do without.
and yes bashir...from time to time, all those who are full of sectarian hatred...you pretend to be "democratic" and other lies...but than in a blink of an eye it slips!!!! you said "killing sunni". see? sectarian!!!!! most of the people there were mercenaries from saudi arabia, jordan, egypt. they were sunni right. you slipped it and revealed that for you, being sunni is more important than being lebanese. and that puts you in a camp of sectarian provocatuers, spies, and shortly...traitors...
“Had it not been for the resistance, Sharon would have been at Baabda Palace right now,”
NO
“Had it not been for the resistance, we would have had peace and prosperity in the country, and would not have had hundreds of innocent men, women and children killed in a futile war!”
Had enough of you and the resistance crap. Maybe at one one point you were a reistance. Right now you party is accused murderer. Yes, if it was not for your aggression and killing of Israeli soldiers on the border in July of 2006, thousands of Lebanese would have still been alive and half of Lebanon would not have been destroyed. Also, maybe if it was not for your party Harriri and all other martyr may have been alive. So please stop your lies!!
@jamal amal,
thanks for confirming that Hezbollah does use their arms against non Israeli's, that 'resistence' is a lie and that you consider our Suni Lebanese brothers 'foriegn merceneries'
What a disgrace.What a Hezbollah sheep.
Well, this one was a real gem - complete departure from reality.
He says that the Mikati government was "formed away from any foreign interference" - yet we all know that Syria ordered the collapse of the Hariri Government and that this government was formed only after Syria gave the green light for its formation. Unless Syria and Lebanon are one country, that's foreign interference.
Fadlallah "wonders" if those wanting the truth should also be "keen on preserving the national contract" - Wasn't he with the boycott of the Siniora government and breaking the national contract by not allowing the government to meet when the Siniora government was seeking the truth?
Fadlallah want to refuse any attempts to fund the STL - doesn't he know that this will work an international boycott of Lebanon? Lebanon is reliant on foreign imports for everything from oil to clothes in the shops and this guy is willing to cut Lebanon's economic lifeline in service to his Iranian masters.
An MP?
By finger do you mean the sheep who watch nasrllh's finger which he waves during interviews?
Surely if they're just a resistance force they need not be in politics or disband once shebaa farms are liberated?
mowaten, your wise man is pointing at a tree up his ass, out of politeness they look at the finger, the idiot is the one who missed that point.
What exactly is Hezbollah 'resisting'?
The only time there has been violence in the country the past 20 years is when Hezbollah initiates it as in 2008 and 2006.
Starting a fight with a superpower that gets thousands of Labanese killed and destroys infrastructure and tourism for years, while you cower underground and cry 'we won' when it is over is 'resistence'?
there is no shame in asking the help of the USA, said aoun in 2003...
why is it shameful today? funny ,isn t it, that hypocrisy..
so let us ask the usa some help, no?!
"Lebanon must be saved, because it is right to save Lebanon; a nation which cherishes American principles and human values that we all believe in."
"Madame Chairwoman, the true nature of the Lebanese people
is love of freedom and affection for America; and the true nature of
America is support for those aspiring to freedom..."
hezbollah was resistant until 2000, after they became a resistance to any lebanese government, didn t towel head remind that the other day? hahaha!
(remember they promised to disband when lebanon would be free, now they say they must liberate palestine, conclusion= they will always find an excuse to keep their weapons....
they should be judge for not obeying taef or 1559 and being outside the lebanese laws... isn t the lebanese law made for all? or isn t hezbollah part of lebanon?)
And about this justification for abandonment of the STL that without Hezbollah, Sharon would have been in Beirut. Another departure from reality.
The last time Israel occupied Lebanon and may have wanted to go to Beirut was May 2000. The STL investigation covers a period of time that commenced in February 2005. In February 2005, Sharon was no threat to come to Beirut with his army.
But in July 2006 was Israel in Beirut?? Yes of course it was. Its airforce bombed the hell out of the Dahyieh, didn't it, as well as all other parts of Lebanon. Now why did that happen? Oh yeah, because Hezbollah took it upon itself to kidnap Israeli soldiers and then to start throwing rockets into Israel when Israel tried to get its soldiers back and the escalation started from there. Even Nasrallah said that if he thought he would "start a war" he would not have taken the two soldiers hostage. So but for Hezbollah Israel would be in Beirut? No, because of Hezbollah, Israel bombed Beirut!!
mowaten, we've already given up our country to Hezbollah vutures.
they will not disarm voluntarily, ever.
they support the murderous regime killing Arab youth in Syria.
they do nothing for Lebanon but damage.
Mowatan -
First I am not M14, but American so I am not affiliated with any party in Lebanon.
Second, M14 does not see government as a Saad Hariri exclusive preserve. Under the election laws in place in 2005 and 2009, the M14 coalition won the Majority in Parliament and therefore, under the constitution, the right to designate the PM.
In January 2011, the M14 lost the Majority not by a vote of the people but a security decision taken by Walid Jumblatt to seek Syrian protection from Hezbollah (May 7, 2008) and to do that he had to retract his previous stand with M14 and withdraw his 11 Deputies from the M14 Majority rendering it a minority. Majorities and minorites should be created at the ballot box, not in response to intimidation tactics.
Mikati is a good man, but does he have effective power? When Nasrallah preempted Mikati and his team by unilaterally declaring policy with regard to the STL, Nasrallah exposed himself as a coup leader against Mikati.
Well ststed Beiruti:
"Mikati is a good man, but does he have effective power? When Nasrallah preempted Mikati and his team by unilaterally declaring policy with regard to the STL, Nasrallah exposed himself as a coup leader against Mikati."
As a democracy no individual out of government should be controlling our destiny. And it is so true that the popularly elected government fell not by a ballot by by turncoats like Walid.
FOR BASHIR
you in zionist information warfare department should first learn arabic. It's jabal amel, no jamal amal. Jabal as a mountain. got it? get on your arabic lessons fast, you are slipping again.
Secondly, there was a big number of foreign mercenaries in 2008 and you can deny it as much as you want. Lie to yourself.
ya jamal amel in the Hezbollah cowardly bunker of mis information:
if you think my calling you a camel was a mistake let me then use nāqah instead.
No 2008 will never be forgotten. It's the date the filthy Shiite militia showed it's true face. THe weapons are intented for protecting Israel by slaugtering Lebanese and turning Lebanon to a cahdor jungle like Iran.
Sharooon has something in common with Mr Fad La La they are both in a vegetated state.
Petit Hassan forgets that the leaders of the resistance that fought Sharooon when he was in and around Baabda and out of Beirut all the way to the south were murdered by his "resistance" because they were secular and would not accept to merge into the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.
When the hated US and Israel gave the go ahead to the Syrian Army to invade the Christian Zionist areas (that's what we called called) mowaten and his anti-US resistance cheered, helped out and participated in fifteen years of occupation and then thanked the occupiers for a job well done. But who care as long as we have the correct rhetoric and baseless accusations and the arms to threaten them with we are fine..DOWN WIZ AMREEKAH!!! YA3EECH AL ASSAD!!!!!
What I love about Lebanon besides being a beautiful country is the huge Number of so called Patriots who loves their country so much that they are ready to fight till the last drop of blood but of civilian and innocents.
Israel since 1948 till early 70th was living alongside the borders of Lebanon.
Both countries kept ceasefire and borders were quiet.
Then groups of Lebanon lovers like PLO, Black September, Abu Nidal groups etc. found a warm nest in Lebanon whom established terror bases and started terror acts against Israel from Lebanese soil.
Later followed by civil war and mutual massacres , After PLO came other "Patriots" who attacked Israel and Israel attacked back.
Rest of story known to all.
Lebanon and Israel both bleeding and for what.?
Israel has no territorial expansion demands. only wish is to keep border quiet and let water from your rivers to flow also to Israel.
Its Lebanese choice weather it will prosper or both countries continue liking the wounds.
The fact is:
Hizbullah is holding guns to the heads of ALL lebanese (including HA's allies) and saying "either my way or the highway". M8 cut their balls off and joined the HA way.
"shoot me and the 2 milion people next to me". That is what jumblat should have done. and that is what our MPs should be saying.
Follow an ideology... think of how you want lebanon to be...only 2 images here...westernized Lebanon or iranianized lebanon -
JUST FOR LAUGHS: read recently that men in iran are not allowed to wear shorts - New Rule-...Hilarious...
Have you read in today's papers how one of north Lebanon's PMs asked upon arriving to the Majless cafeteria asked for a cup of coffee from a guy who turned up to be a Hizb PM.........beleive it or not ......
Is it a coincidence but are all member of the Shiite mafia militia have the typical inbreed appearance. unkempt and shabby looking with some kind of facial skin diseases or discoloring?
