Eight Wounded Syrians Arrive in North Lebanon
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةEight wounded Syrians were hospitalized in northern Lebanon Friday after entering the country through an illegal crossing at the border with Syria, a Lebanese security official told Agence France Presse.
"Eight Syrians with gunshot wounds were evacuated from their country via the unofficial crossing of al-Qusair in the region of Akkar" at Lebanon's northern border with Syria, the official said on condition of anonymity.
They were immediately hospitalized in the northern town of Halba, he said, adding that at least seven more Syrians were waiting to cross the border.
The news came amid reports Syrian security forces had shot dead 11 people and injured scores during anti-regime protests in Damascus and other cities after Friday Muslim prayers.
Syrian rights groups say that more than 1,300 people have been killed and 10,000 arrested in a brutal state crackdown on protesters, who since March have hit the streets to demand the regime of Bashar al-Assad step down.
Thousands of Syrian refugees have arrived in northern Lebanon since April, fleeing violence in their native country.
Lebanon should not receive them , they should be sent to Syria , we dont want Syrian Sunni Salafi terrorists on our soil , we have enough of them .

@Le Phenicien: the same people that are killing theses civilian revolutionaries (that you call terrorists), were the same ones hunting down your general and his people for years in Lebanon. Can it be you are that stupid that you forget these things? Maybe so as general himself seems to not give a crap about his own people in Syrian prisons any more after complaining about it for years and now is Assad's best friend.
