Caretaker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour denounced on Saturday Israeli violations of Lebanon's airspace, considering that they come in context of the continuous aggressive acts that violates the country's sovereignty.

“These violations will not change Israel's violent nature that we are used to,” Mansour said.

He called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and oblige Israel to respect the international resolutions, in particular, U.N. Security Council resolution 1701.

“These violations will increase the tension and escalate the situation,” the FM said.

He pointed out that the Jewish state will not “grant Israel the peace and security that it is seeking but will fuel the conflict in the region.”

Israel's violations of Lebanese airspace, some of which at low altitudes, have intensified in recent days.

On Friday, President Michel Suleiman urged the international community to pressure Israel to stop violating Lebanese airspace, saying its activities breach the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.

The U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon had commented on these incidents, saying that it does not approve of Israel's violations of Lebanon's airspace and noting that UNIFIL will report to the U.N. Security Council on these violations.

mr minister you want more weapons to pass behind our backs to your allies it is a shame that your interest only is to support those who are against the Lebanese and their army .

FT

We all denounce these violations but there needs to be a equal response to Syrian violations also.

Do you not agree?

Sorry FT.. Your letting your emotions get to you.

assad promised to spread terror across the region.
the best way to do that is by starting a sunni shia war, thus desecrating shia shrines.
on the other hand Israel is making sure advanced weapons are not transferred to hizbushaitan, thus the air strikes.
brace yourselves guys: we are about to have a very bloody war.

violations are violation and should be treated equally--PERIOD

or are you claiming an orwellian response" all violations are equal but some violations are more equal than others"
