Three Arrested for Attempting to Smuggle Cannabis to Israel

The army arrested on March 30 three people for attempting to smuggle cannabis to Israel, announced the Army Command on Wednesday.
It said in a statement: “Two Lebanese citizens and a Jordanian were planning to smuggle 20 kilograms of cannabis from Lebanon to the occupied Palestinian territories.”
After the sufficient investigations, the suspects were arrested on March 30 with a number of drugs in their possession.
The suspects have since been referred to the concerned authorities for investigation and to uncover their accomplices.

They should have kidnapped someone while smuggling the drugs. That way they wouldn't have been arrested :)

Question. If a lebanese tries to smuggle cannabis to israel, would he be a traitor to Lebanon, or a hero? If Lebanese authorities catch him, would he get jail?
