The Lebanese army seized arms and ammunition hidden in the engine of a vehicle at the entrance of the Ain el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp.

The Mercedes was loaded with medium and light weapons, LBC TV station and Voice of Lebanon radio (93.3) reported.

The arms, which included rocket propelled grenades, were transported to Mohammed Zgheib barracks in the city of Sidon, VDL said.

It identified the Lebanese owner of the car as Mohammed Terro.

The news came three days after the army seized two truckloads of weapons in the border village of Joura near the area of al-Qaa in the Bekaa valley.

Five Lebanese and five Syrians were on board the Hyundai pick-up and the Toyota van when the army stopped them on Wednesday night.

And they want HA to disarm, pretending they have no weapons. Is that the brother of Ala Terro?

I don't think anyone should keep their weapons but the army.
