Netanyahu reportedly names Dermer to lead possible negotiations with Lebanon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has assigned former Minister Ron Dermer the responsibility of handling the Lebanese file during war, U.S. news portal Axios reported on Friday.
This means that Dermer would be in charge of contacts on the issue with the U.S. administration, and of managing negotiations with the Lebanese government if they do begin in the coming weeks, senior U.S. and Israeli officials told Axios.
