Berri says Shiite Duo not behind new govt. delay
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has said that “the problem in the cabinet formation process is not from the Shiite Duo.”
“Others are taking us as an alibi,” Berri said in an interview with al-Hurra television.
Expressing hope that the new government will be formed this weekend or early next week, Berri added that the Shiite Duo’s choice for the finance portfolio is ex-MP Yassine Jaber, noting that “the campaign against him is not justified.”

The greatest danger today is not from Israel but from Nawaf Salam placing his own interest ahead of the country. He is clearly not qualified to be PM. He seems to capitulate to duo wishes (criminal Hizbollah & dean of political mafia Berri) and form a Vichy cabinet instead of resigning knowing he can’t get back his position at the World Court. Salam already evaporated excitement and hopes from the president speech and so far is acting as worst PM in Lebanon history. He legitimized those who raped and bankrupted Lebanon & transformed the best Arab country into a beggar nation occupied by the Basij and controlled by corrupt political mafia. Has Salam met with port victims? Has he met with family of M14 martyrs assassinated by Hizb/Assad? Does he see the similarity between Assad and Hizb support that will disappear when disarmed? He was appointed with a mandate to disarm Hizb and end political corruption. So far he has done the opposite and must resign!

Why doesn't Beri defend his choice then by showing the 'accomplishments' kf his choice and how he won't impede projects like the investigations in the port blast like his predecessor.
