Mikati to meet foreign leaders at Egypt climate summit

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati arrived Sunday in Egypt to take part in the U.N.'s COP27 climate summit, which will be held over two days in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Mikati was accompanied by caretaker Environment Minister Nasser Yassine and Lebanon’s ambassador to Egypt Ali al-Halabi.

Lebanon’s National News Agency said Mikati will address one of the conference’s sessions and will hold a series of meetings with a number of foreign leaders, presidents and officials.
