ARAB ART FAIR to be held at Zaitunay Bay from Nov. 3 to Nov. 6
Featuring a majority of participants coming in from different countries across the region, ARAB ART FAIR presents a unique platform for art lovers and collectors to discover masterpieces from a new generation of up-and-coming artists.
The annual event gives artists the opportunity to showcase their artwork, promote themselves, and connect with gallerists, collectors, curators, and art lovers.
In this year's edition, despite the financial and economic hardships facing countries in the wider Levant, 44 artists have been shortlisted out of hundreds of applicants that presented their artworks.
The chosen artists are classified into three levels: Class A, Class B, and Class C.
Class C artists will not partake in this year's event to ensure the highest quality of presented artworks. At the same time, curators will request Class B artists to reselect the artworks they will present at the exhibition.
In parallel with the art exhibition, a series of conferences and daily panels opened to the public will be held to help art lovers gain new insights about art, as well as get the opportunity to talk with specialists about the situation of the art market with gallerists, curators, and collectors.
