Report: Hezbollah won't act if Lebanon accepts Israeli answer
Hezbollah is awaiting the Israeli answer that U.S. mediator Amos Hochstein will carry to Lebanon within days, sources informed on the party’s stances said.
“Should the Lebanese government accept the answer and things go in a right direction that satisfies Lebanon, that will be good,” especially after Israel postponed production in the Karish field, the sources told Asharq al-Awsat newspaper in remarks published Wednesday.
“But if the Lebanese government rejects what Hochstein will carry, Hezbollah will have a stance,” which will be reflected in an action or movement, the sources added, without specifying the nature of Hezbollah’s response.
Media reports meanwhile said that Hochstein and Israel will suggest that TotalEnergies begin its operations in Lebanon's waters in return for postponing the border demarcation agreement until after the Israeli elections.

I'm sorry, but I thought that there were two sides to this matter, the Republic of Lebanon and the State of Israel. From this article it seems that there is a third party who have their own opinions and Israel has to negotiate against them too..

If Lebanon initiates a war with Israel it will very likely be very destructive for both sides. Israel has more experience with incoming rockets so the human casualties will be heavier in Lebanon. Lebanon needs to consider this before they start a conflict.

The impacts of Hizb threats and political risks have already costed Lebanon hundreds of billions, bankrupted us, and made investment and redevelopment impossible.
A peaceful well governed nation can get loans at 2% yearly interest. Political instability increases interest to 6%-10% for same loan. In a country controlled by a criminal militia funded by a belligerent country, interest will exceed 15%.
A loan payable in 30 years cost:
80% more if interest=2%
474% more if interest=6%
1645% more if interest=10%
6521% more if interest=15%
