Reports: Miqati to Submit Preliminary Line-Up Monday as Full Reshuffle Expected
Contacts are underway behind the scenes to reach a full reshuffle regarding the draft cabinet line-up, starting by the number of ministers to the redistribution of sovereign porrfolios to the reform-related potfolios such as energy and telecom, media reports said.
"The consultations over the governmental file have not stopped and the beginning of next week will witness a bigger drive, especially to resolve points that need an understanding," informed political sources told al-Liwaa newspaper in remarks published Saturday.
Prime Minister-designate Najib Miqati will meanwhile present a preliminary cabinet line-up to President Michel Aoun on Monday, several newspapers said.
"He has started contacts with the political forces to explore their stances as to the distribution of portfolios and the selection of some candidates," al-Liwaa reported.

Monday is August 2nd. That's d'day folks. It's a make it or break it date. A Government lineup has to be agreed upon to quell this nation simmering in anger/frustration/misery. If not? Then, during the Aug. 4 Demonstrations for the 1 year anniversary of the Beirut Port catastrophe, all it will take is the tiniest spark to throw us back decades to the dark days of civil strife and war.

I tell Miqati to burn Aoun and his nut head Basil by not forming a government until either Aoun dies from old age, which is seen within weeks, or finish his tenure. When either one of the above happens, Aoun would either have gone to hell, where he belongs with the devil, or burnt completely, and with him, comes the end of this corrupt Basil, whose normal place is in jail for life. In this way, Lebanon would rid itself from the first devilish group, and then comes the biggest devil, which is huzbullah, which is the main cause of Lebanon's ills. This cancer would be extracted by a quick and decisive blow by Israel and then Lebanon could probably be based on a new basis. Even then, I have no big hope in that.
