Hariri on Aoun: I Never Expected He'd Have Such a Personality

W460

Ex-PM Saad Hariri on Wednesday said he “regrets” the settlement that made Michel Aoun president, adding that he “never expected him to have such a personality.”

“But I made the settlement to halt the collapse and strife,” Hariri added, in an interview with SkyNews Arabia.

He also revealed that he stepped down as PM-designate this month because “things got personal” with Aoun.

Separately, Hariri said that “Lebanon’s interest lies in PM-designate (Najib) Miqati’s success in forming a government.”

“We strongly support him,” the ex-PM added.

He also suggested that “the revolution we are seeing in Lebanon will consolidate its presence through the results of the upcoming parliamentary elections.”

Hariri on Aoun: I Never Expected He'd Have Such a Personality

that's because you are and were inexperienced and incompetent. Aoun's history is well documented and you don't have to be a psychologist to figure out his destructive nature.

Hope this experience made you grow up and wish you luck in your retirement from politics. Go back to riding Harleys!

Aoun had been in politics for more than half a decade and Hariri belatedly realized that Aoun's personality was not expected. If this is the case, then Saad is unable to assess personalities, never mind run a country in crisis. Hence, please Saad you had enough of leading this country towards destruction, either knowingly, and perhaps unknowingly, and it's time for you to retire. Your brother Baha appears to be more focused and rational than you and perhaps we should give him a chance for the sake of your father, who was indeed a stateman and his loss had been tragic to all of us. It's unfortunate you had none of your father's qualities. You are simply an undog when you say something like this.

Hariri has made up and used every excuse in the book to justify why he didn't form a gouvernent. but everybody knows the reason lies in riyadh vetoing any solution

Like all the others, Hariri is a guy of the Mafia guys who tampered with Lebanon's stability, and corrupted the land, as much, if not more, all the rest. It's unfortunate that he tries to appear clean, when all the fact point in the other direction. If we have a quick look at Hariri's handling of his post as a PM, we could only see favoritism and mismanagement. for instance, all the public works, during his tenure, had been given to the crook Jihad Al Arab, while many in his party have prospered illegally given the wealth they accreted, which doesn't tie up with the money they generate from their posts. Hariri had bean an underdog all the way through, and now, he's coming to tell us that he could save us from hell that Aoun promised, while knowing that this hell had his fingerprints on over ten years of his being in the PM's position. Shame on Hariri for tarnishing the image of his father. It's time for Bahae to come and polish this image. It's not too late.
