Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri received on Tuesday a telephone call from Saudi King Abdullah to inquire about his health after he broke his leg last week.

Hariri is currently staying at the American Hospital in Paris where he is recuperating from surgery he had to his leg.

The former premier broke his leg over the weekend while skiing in the French Alps with his family.

He underwent surgery on the leg and was set to remain in hospital for six to seven days.

He received several telephone calls from numerous officials who wished him a speedy recovery, including President Michel Suleiman, Prime Minister Najib Miqati, Speaker Nabih Berri, Qatari Prime minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem al-Thani, former French President Jacques Chirac, and former Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi.

Really naharnet? This is what passes as "lebanon news"? We understand that hariri owns a significant share in the al nahar... Surely publishing his every tweet is enough.

A nurse called me and told me that Hariri, just farted twice and the room stinks. That is journalism with good sources.
