Army Raids Homes in Baalbek over Drug Supply Including Nouh Zoaiter's

The Lebanese armed forces carried out raids of several homes in Hay al-Sharawneh in Baalbek related to major drug supply throughout Lebanon, LBCI reported on Wednesday.

The homes raided included that of drug kingpin Nouh Zoaiter, Ramzi Zoaiter, Ali Monzer aka Abu Salleh who are believed to be linked to drug supply and manufacture.

The suspects could not be found anywhere around.

Large amounts of Captagon pills, weapons and ammunition were seized.

Zoaiter is one of the most prominent drug farmers and dealers and is wanted by the state on several arrest warrants.

Zoaiter managed to evade arrest for years.
