Major Rebel Withdrawal from More Aleppo Districts, Battle in 'Final Phase'

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Syrian rebels on Monday withdrew from six more neighborhoods in their one-time bastion of east Aleppo in the face of advancing government troops, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

"The battle of Aleppo has reached its end. It is just a matter of a small period of time, no more, no less... it's a total collapse," said Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the Britain-based monitor.

Among the neighborhoods from which rebels withdrew was Bustan al-Qasr, once one of the most fortified districts under opposition control.

The withdrawal leaves rebels confined to just a handful of neighborhoods in the southeast of Aleppo, the largest of them Sukkari and Mashhad.

Syria's army is on the verge of retaking all of east Aleppo -- in rebel hands since 2012 -- after almost four weeks of a sustained assault.

In the Mashhad neighborhood, residents fleeing the army advance in other districts were crowded in the streets with nowhere to go, witnesses said.

Many were hungry and had not been able to bring anything with them. East Aleppo has been under siege since mid-July, with food supplies dwindling.

Displaced civilians were sitting on pavement, among them women and children lying on the street to sleep, they said.

Syria Army Takes Aleppo District, Battle in 'Final Phase'

LOL; more like the russian army, air force, navy, shia terrorists from Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Bahrain and every nation that has a few of those scumbags.

Thumb Mystic 12 December 2016, 13:36

You are still losing regardless of whom your people fight.

It is not your time any longer, the world have seen your senseless struggle.
They do not care now.

Thumb _mowaten_ 12 December 2016, 13:44

You sound very bitter today justince! even for a sectarian scumbag like you this is beyond the usual levels of frothing. You can't imagine how happy this makes me :)

Thumb justice 12 December 2016, 14:06

Buzz off ya iraní. The only scumbag frothing at the mouth is you and your likes and your 100 fake 'atheist' accounts.

Thumb justice 12 December 2016, 14:09

@terrorist

he cannot focus on the article. Have you ever seen this filth express an opinion? Never.... The Syrian army was defeated the first six months of the war. This troll has no argument to present except spew his despicable diatribe on posters. He thinks he is somebody and that people read the news only through his paid comments. Absolute filth....

Thumb Puppet 12 December 2016, 14:16

I respect Mr. Mowaten and all his known and unknown aliases because they are not sectarian and they are always polite.

Thumb morsel 12 December 2016, 14:25

Why every time you can't successfully refute @mowaten, you accuse him of being sectarian? I've been reading this forum for many years and I've never managed to know what @mowaten's religion is. sometimes I think he's christian, sometimes shia, sometimes buddhist, and sometimes israeli jewish.. so I stopped guessing. It's people like you, who are sectarian, mowaten is Lebanese not 100% Iranian or Yemeni or even Iraqi or Somali for that matter.

What can one say, another E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T comment. I particularly enjoyed the part where you said " You can't imagine how happy this makes me :)"

Thank you for making this forum lovely, lively and vibrant.

Still laughing since January 2015.
Thank you

you know what is strange mowaten.... I was thinking the same thing exactly, the same!!!! The similarities between us are not just coincidences anymore. I mean we are both shiaa extremists who pretend to be secular and we both are members of the shia resistance, both paid to post, both are sectarian to the bone, both troll and make up accounts to insult people and then pretend we are against such practices.... I hope just because we are similar in all the above ways people don't think we are the same poster.

To attack one poster....But you have snotted them one after the other

Very similar to one lion against all them hyenas.

Even on an article regarding a 'Battle in Final Phase', I find you @mowaten spamming, trolling, and terrorizing other posters. What kind of person are you? New evidence surfaces by the minute that you are a paid poster but the question remains who pays you and for what exact purpose? Is it the Iranian embassy, is it the revolutionary guard, is it the syrian intelligence or the ex-KGB? These questions must be answered by you and NOW!

What is your favorite Latmiyat Christmas Carol? Are you feeling the Christmas spirit yet?

Thumb _mowaten_ 13 December 2016, 00:41

glad you asked eagleyawn, I actually composed my own christmas carol this year, you can sing it to the tune of jingle bells:

Dashing through the scum
In big tanks or fighter jets
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way

Pulverizing jihadis
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A slaying song tonight!

Jihadis, jihadis,
Jihadis getting crushed!
Oh! what fun it is to ride
in big tanks and fighter jets

Assad Relies on Foreign Fighters in Push to Retake Aleppo

"We, the Shiites, are fighting to defend our ideology, religion, holy places and the state against terrorists," said a Shiite cleric in Beirut. He would only give his first name, Mohsen, because he did not want to appear as if he is inciting violence."

in a democracy ya troll, a president's term comes to an end unlike where you come from where a dictator rules for life.

Thumb the_roar 12 December 2016, 16:49

Who's definition of democracy are you referring to?

yours? who made you the ruler of democracy?

If you don;t like the Syrian democracy, you can tell this forum what it is they lack...I mean should they become like the Saudi's that you seem to be in love with?

who are you to decide who's definition of democracy is just or not?

Thumb lubnani.masi7i 12 December 2016, 17:21

to the shias and iranians like the intellectual roaring insect, Syria has always been a democracy.

Thumb the_roar 12 December 2016, 17:46

when these shills have no reasonable debate, they think that calling other forum members who pummel them with reason & logic...Iranian or Shia...thus it makes all their failed debate go away.

Its old, its lame & above all it reeks of total intolerance.

Thumb the_roar 12 December 2016, 17:53

Its funny how these Saudi lovers are questioning syria's democratic system.

Yet the world knows that Syria was the leader of democracy in the ME.

but hey if the shills here insist that Syria is not up to their standards when it comes to democracy, maybe they could show us an example of how a democracy should be according to any other ME country,
I would like them to start with Saudi Arabia & show us the standard of democracy that Syria has failed to live up to.

Missing peace 12 December 2016, 17:54

Missing peace 12 December 2016, 20:40

it seems difficult for some hezbi bootlickers to answer a simple question...
since when is syria a democracy?
seems it gets on their nerves to answer this... why? go figure.

it is so difficult to admit it is a totalitarian country which admits no opposition to its power?

and of course you ask them about syria they answer saudi arabia... deflecting as usual...

cowards unable to assume they support a dictatorship which they worship....

Missing peace 12 December 2016, 20:46

"asks the smug shill who worships saudi wahabia, the ottoman empire the fratricidal qatari and respects the israeli 'neighbor'."

and of course the same fanatic rhetoric... if you are against their president bashar and hezbis it means you support saudis israelis qatar as usual.... nothing new under the sun of fanaticism...

typical binary thinking of people with limitless capabilities due to the unique neurone they have........
