ISF Member Shot Dead in Choueifat
An Internal Security Forces member was deadly shot in the Choueifat area southeast of Beirut, the state-run National News Agency reported Thursday.
Unknown assailants opened gunfire from a hunting rifle at on duty ISF member Mohammed al-Arab killing him instantly, NNA said.
The victim sustained the fatal injury in his head.
In another incident, gunmen opened fire at Syrian national, Maher Tfaylieh, in the northeastern town of Arsal.
He was taken to a nearby hospital in Jib Jenin for treatment.
No further details were provided on the two incidents.

The Head of the ISF revealed in an exclusive interview with CNN's Neal Robertson the perpetrator was apprehended after fleeing the crime scene on a stolen motorcycle and was headed into dahieh, beirut's southern suburb.In recent years, Dahieh has become a hub for criminal activities mainly committed by shias and sponsored by hezbollah.
The identity of the perpetrator was kept secret pending the completion of the investigation. But Mr. Robertson confirmed the suspect is a Shia who believes in Wilayat Al Faqih, a heretical offshoot of Islam. He confessed without further delay he was ordered by Hezbollah to assassinate the ISF member with the aim to rattle Mr. Aoun's presidency.
Hezbollah is a world known terror group with global criminal activities in drugs, smuggling, kidnappings, child abuse and human trafficking.
