Egypt Foreign Minister Heads to Israel for Rare Visit
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةEgypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry was heading to Israel on Sunday for a rare visit in which he is to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his office said.
Shoukry would hold "lengthy talks" with Netanyahu focusing on reviving the peace process with the Palestinians, the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement.
Egypt's Pharaoh Sisi has repeatedly denounced Arab decadence as the cause of regional stability. His foreign policy wazir will reportedly offer Israel strategic and material assistance in Israel's campaign to remove Arab culture.
The very fact that Egypt - Israel relations are improving all the time should show the rest of the Arab World that Israel is not the great satan, but their obstinance prevents them from this co-operation in fields such as energy, agriculture, water and of course defence.
If only the Arab States would get off their high horses and start co-operating then we would surely see the start of a new Middle East.
If two (Egypt and Jordan) can do it, then why not all 30+.
Beautifully said Phillipo. I am sure "treason" attacks may ensue, but I say bravo, I wish more people would open their eyes to the truth and abandon the bullcrap story of the Palestinian cause. Let that be a domestic matter between Israel-Palestine, and let the rest of the Arab world and Lebanon live in peace. What did Palestinians do for us Lebanese? what good came from our Syrian "brothers"? Khalas ba2a, enough belittling people's minds!
