Spielberg's Name Blacked Out from Tintin's Posters at a Lebanese Movie Theater

Tintin, a long awaited 3D movie in Lebanon caused a round of debate on Wednesday when one of the theaters blacked out its producer's name.
Cinema City Administration at City Mall Complex in Dora blacked out the name of Tintin's Producer, Steven Spielberg on the movie's poster, "Blogbaladi", a Lebanese blog reported.
In a call made by Skeyes Media to Cinema City administration on Wednesday, Muhammad Mrouweh said: “We obscured the name of the producer from the poster due to a request from the Lebanese General Security as his name is on their blacklist.” adding that “we sent a request to the GS to remove the sticker covering the producer’s name so that it can be seen. But we haven’t up till now received any response."
Lebanese newspaper L'Orient Le Jour spoke to an official at the General Security who denied asking Cinema City to cover up Spielberg's name.
“Spielberg’s name is on the black list, and we could have banned the movie legally.” he said. “But these days we’re being flexible in implementing the law.”
Spielberg, a Jewish producer, was blacklisted by the Arab League after he donated $1 million to Israel during the 2006 war between the Jewish state and Lebanon.

Those who pulled this despicable stunt should have their hands chopped off... Spielberg is the greatest of film directors that ever lived... he happens to be Jewish and true to his faith... is that a crime? Are all Lebanese who are of the Jewish faith should feel guilty and unwelcome in their homeland because they are Jewish? The hypocrites and ignorant imbeciles who wiped out Spielberg's name should be ashamed of themselves...

His name is not on the blacklist because he is Jewish.
In 2007 the ARAB LEAGUE has unanimously voted to boycott Steven Spielberg after he donated 1 million $ to Israel during the JULY WAR on Lebanon.
Check your facts before jumping to accusations and insults.

What does this have with racism towards Judaism or with Hezballah? Do you guys check your facts before forging your opinions?
Spielberg is not on the blacklist because he is Jewish, he is on the blacklist because the Arab League has unanimously voted to boycott him in 2007 (and therefore has nothing to do with Hezballah) because he had donated money to Israel during the July war on Lebanon (and therefore has nothing to do with him solely being Jewish).
If THAT is not a good enough reason for you to put his name on our blacklist, then I seriously don't know what to say...

As far as I am concerned, he is free to give his money to Irael, Syria, Iran, or to ET! I don't give a crap about it, and I do not see how this is related to his work in this movie!

I understand the fact that he was blacklisted for donating money but removing his name from the poster is a stupid thing to do, the movie is still showing and making profit and who is gaining money? Yup! Spilberg! so it is a bit Ironic, no? Weird censorship!
