Aerosmith's Tyler Performs in Paraguay After Fall
Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler wowed tens of thousands of fans in Paraguay with his vocal stylings and dance moves after a fall forced him to delay the US band's concert in Asuncion by a day.
Tyler's bruises -- one very visible on his right cheek and the other on his chin -- did not keep him from thrilling the fans late Wednesday with a vibrant set at the Jockey Club that included many of the band's greatest hits.
The famously toothy 63-year-old singer reportedly suffered a cut eyebrow and injuries to his mouth including two broken teeth in a bathroom fall on Tuesday, the newspaper ABC said on its website, citing hospital witnesses.
A spokesman for the band did not confirm or deny the report, but said Tyler -- who has also had stints as a celebrity judge on the U.S. talent show "American Idol" -- had suffered stomach problems during the band's last stop in Peru.
Tyler closed the show in front of 50,000 fans with one of the band's signature hits, "Walk This Way."
