“An (Internal Security Forces) Intelligence Bureau patrol found two functional 60 mm mortar shells in an agricultural field in the town of al-Majadel, southeast of the city of Tyre,” state-run National News Agency reported.
The patrol removed the mortars from the site and delivered them to the Jwayya police station, NNA said.
“It also arrested Syrian national Mohammed Sawad, who lives in a house near the location where the two shells were discovered,” the agency added.
In August 2013, several rockets and shells left over from the 2006 war with Israel were found in the al-Nsar-Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain area east of Tyre.
forty thousand rockets, impunity
two shells, punishment.
Way past the double standards....
I hope so too brother FT, what we the people are asking for are very simple things, and never been a sin for all I know. We the people are asking for these:
The return of all Hezbollah weapons and its continued activity only as a political party, like all the rest.
A strong and vibrant country, protected by a strong and powerful Lebanese Armed Forces.
A strong government, a state of laws, under the constitution of the land, enjoying strong state institutions. A fair justice system, where everyone is under the law.
I am sure this is not asking for too much.
lol smarty, the resistance is legitimate and has fulfilled a very important role for lebanon. what is the syrian doing with those weapons? who does he answer to? what are his objectives? he is a guest in our country, he shouldn't come with war weapons.
FT, brother, I am now prepared to put you to the bet, that when a full scale war erupts between Hezbollah and Israel, that all these rockets as you mentioned, 170K and twice more will hurt Israel of course, but if Israel so wishes to annihilate that so-called resistance, it will do so in the blink of an eye. No, I am not playing devil's advocate as some would in this forum, but just pulling any finger that intends to obstruct my honesty. If Hezbollah is so concerned with the defense of Lebanon, then let HA do the one noble thing, give the weapons to the LAF and rejoin the political fold as it should. Anything else is a pretext to continue existing against the wishes of almost every reasonable patriot.
