تنصتت الإستخبارات الألمانية على مسؤول في حزب الله خلال حديث هاتفي مع أحد المسؤولين في السفارة الإيرانية وفي الحديث يقول الأول أن الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد استخدم الغازات السامة.
وفي التفاصيل أفادت المجلة الأسبوعية الألمانية "دير شبيغل"، أن استخبارات بلادها الخارجية عرضت على القياديين الأمنيين "دليلا على استخدام النظام السوري الأسلحة الكيميائية، في غوطة دمشق، قبل أسبوعين".
وقالت أن رئيس الاستخبارات الألمانية الخارجية شيندلر "قدم خلال ندوة سرية عقدها لبعض القياديين الأمنيين دليلا على استخدام الأسد الكيميائي، فالاستخبارات تنصتت على أحد المسؤولين رفيعي المستوى في "حزب الله"، خلال حديث هاتفي مع أحد المسؤولين في السفارة الإيرانية في برلين".
أضافت أن "المسؤول في حزب الله استعمل عبارة تؤكد أن الأسد استخدم الأسلحة الكيميائية، بغوطة دمشق في 21 آب الماضي، وأفاد المسؤول في حديثه أن الأسد أصبح عصبيا للغاية، وأنه ارتكب خطأ كبيرًا باستخدامه الغازات السامة".
هذا وأوضح خبر الأسبوعية الالمانية أن "التسجيل بين المسؤولين الإيراني واللبناني قد يمثل دليلا للمجتمع الدولي على أن الأسد استخدم الكيميائي".
وتأتي هذه المعلومات في ظل حملة دولية واسعة لضربة غربية محتملة على سوريا ردا على المجزرة.

I tried to weigh out the perspective of quo bono (who benefits?) because I agree with Mowaten that this gives the US a trump card.
However, I m not of the opinion that the Syrian regime was/is doing particularly well or they wouldn't have accepted any assistance from HA because that's almost as much of a trump card in and of itself.
If this wiretap information is true, it would fit with the developing narrative that HA is more of a hesitant partner - and more realistic than Assad - and I'm sure the party isn't pleased with the scenario because it's downhill either way they look at it. If I was HA, I would push back against Iran and cut my losses in Syria.
