جعجع رفض مقولة الأسد أن سوريا هي "آخر معقل للعلمانية": هذا تخويف للمسيحيين

أكد رئيس حزب "القوات اللبنانية" أن القول أن سوريا هي آخر معقل للعلمانية هو "تخويف" من النظام السوري للمسيحيين مؤكدا أنهم يريدون "حرية وديمقراطية" وليس حماية.
ودعا جعجع في حديث إلى قناة "الجزيرة" القطرية بثته في نشرة أخبارها المسائية الخميس "المسيحيين في سوريا للمشاركة في الثورة بلادهم".
وكان قد صرح الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد في مقابلة الخميس ستبث كاملة الجمعة عبر قناة "روسيا اليوم" أنه "اذا كانت هناك مشاكل في سوريا، خصوصا واننا المعقل الاخير للعلمانية والتعايش في المنطقة، فان ذلك سيكون له اثر "الدومينو" الذي سيؤثر في العالم من المحيط الاطلسي الى المحيط الهادىء".
وهنا اعتبر جعجع أن "النظام يحاول تخويفهم من التطرف الاسلامي للارتماء في احضانه مع انه هو اول من وجه الضربات للمسيحيين".
وشدد على أن "الكلام عن ان النظام السوري هو آخر مكان للعلمانية والانظمة الحرة في الشرق الاوسط كلام يجافي الواقع من بعيد".
وتابع قائلا "هذه محاولات من قبل النظام لتخويف المسيحيين لدفعهم لارتماء في احضانه مع الاخذ في الاعتبار ان اكثر من اضر بالمسيحيين ليس في سوريا فقط بل في لبنان ايضا هو هذا النظام بالذات".
وعليه أضاف رئيس "القوات" قائلا "نحن لا نريد حماية من احد، بل نحن نريد حرية وديمقراطية ومساواة وعدالة وبعدها المسيحيون في لبنان او سوريا او العراق اومصر او اينما كان يستطيعون تدبر امورهم بانفسهم".
ووجه جعجع نداءً الى "الدول العربية المعنية بشكل خاص اكثر من الدول الاجنبية بما يجري في سوريا الى ان تسعى الى تسليح المعارضة السورية بالشكال اللازم اقله الوحدات الواضحة الهوية من هذه المعارضة لتستطيع اكمال ثورتها بالشكل المناسب ومحاولة انهاء الازمة السورية بالسرعة المطلوبة".
وذكر رئيس حزب "القوات اللبنانية" أن "كل لحظة تتأخر فيها الازمة السورية ثمة مزيد من الخراب والدمار والانقسام ودفع مجموعات من البشر الى التطرف".

Phoenix can't agree more my friend, the day we Lebanese give up the za3im mentality and follow true progress whatever side it belongs to, is the day Lebanon starts to heal from years of pain and suffering. Lets hope some of our regular armchair professors are as forward thinking when the time comes

Note: Syria is not our friend, nor has it ever been our friend. Why is it that this so called friendly neighbor has never even attempted to demark its borders with us for 70 years and it took it until 2008 to actually formalize diplomatic relations. We almost have relations as good with our southern neighbors.
