فتح أهالي المخطوفين اللبنانيين في سوريا طريق المطار بعد قطعه عصر الإثنين بالسيارات والفانات، مطالبين الدولة بالإسراع في إطلاق سراحهم، ومحذرين في الوقت عينه من التصعيد إن لم يستجب لمطالبهم.
وأعلن الشيخ عباس زغيب في تصريح باسم أهالي المخطوفين،أن أهالي المخطوفين قرروا تعليق الاعتصام على طريق المطار.
وقال: "طالبنا مرارا الدولة بالتحرك وجعل هذه القضية من أولوياتها، وتحرك الاهالي طبيعي".
وأشار الى أن تعليق الاعتصام هو لافساح المجال للدولة لان قضيتنا انسانية ونحن ضد اذية احد، آملا أن يقوم رئيس الجمهورية بجولة حول العالم لاطلاقهم.
ولفت الى أنه "بغض النظر عن اي جهة حزبية، الاهالي سمحوا للناس المرور لانهم قرروا تعليق الاعتصام".
ولقد أقفلت طريق المطار بشكل نهائي في الاتجاهين، بعدما أقدم عدد من اهالي المخطوفين في سوريا على اشعال الاطارات تحت الجسر قبل حاجز الجيش".
اشارة الى أن كان هناك تجمعين لاهالي المخطوفين يفصل بينهما 500 متر الاول يقطع الطريق بالفانات والسيارات، والثاني بالاطارات المشتعلة.
ولقد أكد أهالي المخطوفين أن تحركهم مستمر الى أن أن تتم عملية الإفراج، متوجهين الى الخاطفين بالقول أن "المخطوفين هم مجرد زوار ولا علاقة لهم بأي حزب أو حركة".
كما أكدوا أنهم على استعداد لإفتراش الأرض ليلا والبقاء على تحركهم، محملين الدولة المسؤولية ذلك.
وذكرت القناة أنه تم سماع إطلاق نار في محيط طريق المطار، في حين أشارت الـ LBC الى " اعتراض موكب أحد الشخصيات على طريق المطار ما اضطره للتراجع".
ولقد رفض الأهالي طلب القوى الأمنية بفتح الطريق في كل الإتجاهات، إلا أن قوى الامن الداخلي من فتح مسرب واحد من طريق المطار للسيارات المغادرة من مطار رفيق الحريري الدولي.
ولقد أدى التحرك الى عرقلة حركة الوافدين الى المطار، حيث أفادت قناة الـ "MTV" أن "الركاب الوافدين اصطفوا على الرصيف مع حقائبهم بانتظار فتح الطريق".
وينتقل جميع المسافرين سيرا على الاقدام لاجتياز الطريق المؤدية الى المطار.
وأقدم الأهالي على التحرك مرات عدة سابقا ، حيث عمدوا الى قطع الطريق بأجسادهم وحرق الإطارات احتجاجا.
يشار الى أن المخطوفين كانوا قد ظهروا بتسجيل مصور، أكدوا خلاله أنهم بصحة جيدة.
وفي 22 أيار الماضي خطف أحد عشر حاجا لبنانيا في حلب من قبل مجموعة مسلحة أثناء عودتهم من زيارة دينية في إيران.

This only shows that this is a staged demonstration supposedly blaming the hezbollah government when the pilgrims are most likely linked to hezbollah.

How big are the families of those kidnapped? How much clout and power do they have in order to block such a main artery? The government that they are trying to pressure is controlled by Hezbollah. The airport road is under Hezbollah's control. So what is going ON?

Blocking the airport road and threatening the citizens of Lebanon is all they know. Why not blame Nasrallah for sending Hezz officers into Syria, most likely to give orders to the Hezz snipers and shabiha there? The Hezz govenrment is a total failure but threatens anyone who suggests it should collapse. What a disaster.

i suggest the families of the hundreds kidnapped from Lebanon before 2005 during the syrian occupation by the syrian army or by jamil sayyed's thugs and sent to jails in syria to come join the families of the 11 pilgrims after all one lebanese citizen imprisoned in syria is worth another no matter who's holding him.

They agreed? Who are they to agree? Is it their private road? They are turning their just cause into a thug operation. What an insult to the Lebanese who have been in Syrian jails for years... They didn't get to block the airport road. Why? they are lesser people?

first of all I think that it is shameful that not a single regional 'power' has condoned the kidnappings. I specifically refer to Persian Gulf Nations. Then The way the government, especially ministry of foreign affairs, dealt with the situation the first 48hrs was shameful towards the families. Finally, I agree with most those families have NO right to disrupt peoples lives. Go and demonstrate in Babbda, or serail. mayeb thousands will join in support.
