شهيب يؤكد أن خطة النفايات أصبحت "أقرب الى التنفيذ": التحضيرات مستمرة والعمل جدي

أعلن وزير الزراعة اكرم شهيب أن الخطة التي طرحها حول أزمة النفايات أصبحت أقرب الى واقع التنفيذ، لافتا الى ان الاتصالات جارية مع الجميع والعمل جدي.
وقال شهيب في حديث الى صحيفة "الجمهورية" الثلاثاء "التحضيرات لتنفيذ الخطة مستمرة والعمل جدي، وأصبح أقرَب الى واقع التنفيذ منه على الورق، والاتصالات لا تزال جارية مع الجميع للوصول الى حلّ مع الاهالي والبلديات وأجهزة الدولة".
ولفت شهيب الى ان "الدور الاساسي يبقى للناشطين البيئيين الذين يقومون بمساعدتنا".
وكشفَ أن "مطمر السلسلة الشرقية وجدناه، ونعمل عليه بالتنسيق مع الجيش والقوى الفاعلة في المنطقة"، مضيفا "اما في عكار فقد بدأ التحضير للمطمر في سرار، وهو ما نحن ملتزمون به حتى ولَو لم تنفّذ الخطة".
وعرض شهيب خطة لحل كارثة النفايات المستمرة منذ اقفال مطمر الناعمة في تموز الفائت. وتقوم خطتهعلى اعادة فتح المطمر لمدة سبعة ايام الا ان اهالي البلدة رفضوا ذلك.
كما اقترح فتح مكب برج حمود الذي شهد اعتصاما احتجاجيا ومسيرة الاحد بدأت منه وصولا الى ساحة النجمة ، وكذلك اقامة مطمر في بلدة سرار الذي يحتج أهلها على ذلك تحت شعار "عكار ليست مزبلة".
وكانت السلسلة الشرقية (المصنع) جزءا من خطة شهيب الا أن شهيب صرف النظر عنها لاسباب بيئية وصحية.
وتبدأ الخطة بالتخفيف من النفايات، والفرز من المصدر، وتأهيل البلديات لتأهيل مجتمعها والشروع في حلّ كل منطقة خدماتية على حدة مع منحها الحق في الإشراف ومنحها حقوقها المالية.
وكان شهيب دعا الى اعطاء الخطة التي عرضتها اللجنة المكلفة حل ملف النفايات "الفرصة" قبل فوات الاوان. وشدد حينها على ان "الشراكة" هي الضمان الوحيد لنجاحها.

The rain that came on Sunday night to Monday is an ominous sign that we can no longer go round and around the bush. The trash issue is much too serious to be treated like any mundane political issue to opposes M8 to M14. Lebanon needs a national solution to this growing threat if it wants to avert something truly major, one of them an outbreak of cholera and more. The existing dump sites should be used whilst a durable solution is found, therefore the people blocking the roads to them are now doing it to cause this problem going out of hand. Yes, we all understand their concerns, but Shehayeb has already done quite a commendable job to help find solutions, we are all already behind time, if we want to avert the very worst, Lebanon already stinks bad as it is and it will get much much worse soon if we keep messing around.
