الحريري زار امير قطر وشدد على اهمية "التضامن العربي"

Read this story in English W460

(2). Mystic. In Syria you can barely hold on to territory, not even Bachar lately can hold on to anything, and now in Yemen you got yourself some serious problem to deal with. Iran has put your mercenaries in the mouth of the gun and is now courting the US and the West. But overzealousness and pompousness don't bode well for people too long used push their weighs on others, when the time comes to adapt, you won't even realize it till it's too late. Your wrongful description of Saad Hariri is yet another proof of what I am saying.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/how-saudi-attempts-to-manipulate-the-houthis-and-the-muslim-brotherhood-backfired-in-yemen/5442293

"During the Cold War the US, the House of Saud, Britain, and Israel all supported the royalists in North Yemen and supported the idea of a Zaidi imamate against Yemeni republicans. Once the republicans won the war, the Saudis began funding Wahhabi programs and schools to convert the Zaidis and to create sectarian divisions in North Yemen.

After South Yemen fought Britain to become independent in 1967, the US, Saudi Arabia, and Britain began to support a Muslim Brotherhood insurrection with the aim of toppling the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen. When North Yemen and South Yemen were unified in 1990 the Muslim Brotherhood insurgents founded Al-Islah as the Saudis continued funding the Wahhabi programs that would help produce Al-Qaeda and sympathies for it."

Thumb _mowaten_ 16:13 ,2015 نيسان 13

While Ali Abdullah Saleh was the president of Yemen, the Kingdom used Al-Islah to keep President Saleh and his General People’s Congress in check. After the ousting of Saleh during the so-called Arab Spring and the ascendency of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and North Africa, the Kingdom got nervous and opted to exploit the Houthis as a counterweight against Al-Islah as a means of preventing the Muslim Brotherhood from controlling Yemen.

To varying degrees the Saudi strategy to manipulate the Houthi movement against Al-Islah contributed to the ascendency of the Houthis in Yemen.

Thumb _mowaten_ 16:14 ,2015 نيسان 13

Nothing less than suzerainty over Yemen is enough for the House of Saud. Despite the fact that the Houthis were willing to reassure the Kingdom for months and approached the House of Saud to sue for peace days before the war, the Kingdom wants total obedience from the Houthi movement. The Houthis and most the other political factions in Yemen — including Al-Hadi’s own General People’s Congress — cannot accept this. So the Saudis opted to force Yemen into submission by means of a war."

and so they invented the so-called iranian menace to justify this new failure in the making.

So ya Mowaten, it's OK for you to label Hariri, sure, why not, but whereas it comes to Sayed Hassan it should remain a no-go area? No bro, Sayed Hassan is no longer the leader of that resistance, he now heads an army of mercenaries that will not desist till he bites the dust. Hezbollah is doing exactly what people have been saying for a long time now, that it is going way out of its self-made mandate, now into Syria, Iraq, Yemen and God knows where more. Let's be honest, Hezbollah has no business anywhere now, even here in Lebanon it should pack up and join the army, and continue as a political party like everyone else. Your lack of respect to the demands of those you oppose here will get you the radicals soon enough, both here and outside.

Do the events in Yemen concern us? require nassrallah to appear again and again and again on TV to spill his hatred? How does that serve Lebanon's interests? Where is the zionist enemy in all of this? Sheba Farms? Jerusalem? What is the Iranian Kuds Brigade of the Revolutionary Guards doing for "Kuds" (Jerusalem)? Does liberating Jerusalem pass through Idlib, Aleppo, Tikrit and now Sanna and Aden? I hope you are not laying the foundation for nassralllah's speech on Friday?

"hezbollah is the foremost authority in the ME for shias. wherever shias are in danger, you should expect hezbollah to step in."

Glad you finally admitted what everybody has been saying for a very long time. Hezbollah is NOT a Lebanese resistance whose objective is to defend and liberate as most resistances have done across history. Rather it is a Shia authority protecting shias in danger anywhere in the M.E.

And you wonder why the majority of Lebanese want hezbollah disarmed. Hezbollah according to you is a sectarian entity and as such is a existential threat to the Lebanese Fabric. We are a nation of sects, and as a Christian I do not accept another sect to have a militia with pure sectarian objectives. I see that a threat to my existence.

Arab, what you wrote is correct, in Yemen the government was putting up a good fight against Al Qaeda, until the Houtis saw a small crack in the wall and took advantage of it. Aided and sponsored by Iran, both them, Iran and Hezbollah saw an opportunity to take over Yemen and make of it another Iranian satellite state, however no one dared predict that the KSA will form an alliance and confront them. Now it's no longer a war between the Yemenis but between the KSA and Iran. Most pundits predict a long and protracted war.

(1). Mystic, Saad Hariri has tried everything he got to reason with your Hezbollah-led M8 side, but he never got anywhere sadly. He has compromised a lot with you people and all this for the sake of national entente and to find a way forwards with Lebanon's long ingrained problems. The Hariris are not radicals but moderates, of course I am not saying they are perfect, far from that, but at least the Hariris like all the rest of the Sunni moderates, they've gone the extra miles to seek solutions. yet for all the Sunni moderates' efforts, Hezbollah has simply exploited their goodwill, to the point where you ended up having the radical Sunnis. Hezbollah does not listen, Hezbollah dictates and will show not one iota of remorse when it uses force. But for lack of intelligence, and for a saturation of sheer cockiness, arrogance in the thinking of Hezbollah and its masters, all falsely built in a belief of invincibility, you've come to make one expensive mistake after the other.

Southern. In Syria the same was said, then came the FSA, then Al Nusra, now IS. Last week IS took control of Yarmouk camp on the very periphery of Damascus. I am sure especially nowadays to give them the benefit of the doubt, that everyone is against Al Quaeda and now IS. Having learnt from our past mistakes, one should today be able to tell with a reasonable level of accuracy that in Yemen we could all see a worsening of the situation, and now in the conflict that opposes the KSA and its allies on the one hand against Iran and its allies on the other hand, IS will definitely take advantage of the situation making a bad predicament even worse. Like everywhere, the people will be the ones to pay the highest price.

Here's the thing in Yemen. KSA has taken this fight on with very little allied assistance. It is one of the first times a regional Arab state has done this rather than letting the US do it, or some proxy force where plausible deniability can be claimed to render a defeat an orphan.
And that's just it. If the military campaign fails, the defeat will not be an orphan, but a child of the Royal Family. There is no face saving measure available to hide the disgrace of a loss which could shake or even topple the regime.

Thumb the_roar 16:18 ,2015 نيسان 13

Peace, the trouble with our Hezbollah and FPM partisans, is that they will refuse everything we tell them, yet they will want to force it on us about their views, even if fake. The trouble gets worse when their tempers reach boiling point, some of them are literally tethering on the edge of the cliff. But anyway, life goes on, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, we can only debate, things will take their course whatever, and the ante here will not work in favor of those so temperamental.

Thumb beiruti 16:17 ,2015 نيسان 13

War making in the Middle Eastern culture is like courting a wife. The man must be assured of success before he begins the venture, otherwise, he will lose face in a way that cannot be recovered. So he sends out his "best man" to reconnoiter and to ask, "if a proposal is made what would be your response". Only with the assurance of success is the venture attempted.
And in war, only with the pre-assurance of victory is the venture attempted. So it is very much out of character for KSA to have entered the venture without the pre-assurance of victory in Yemen. It is why the US is so important to be the one to absorb the loss if there is a loss. It is why Iran has a Hezbollah or a Houthi tribe, or even the IRG, so that the "official" government is not required to be responsible for a loss in warfare.

Thumb the_roar 16:22 ,2015 نيسان 13

U.S will come to KSA aid soon enough...but only when KSA stop being too big headed & comeback to the U.S fold under no illusions of grandeur.

KSA have been behaving like a country that dictates terms, even testing the U.S of late...but events will force them back to the good old days.

Thumb beiruti 16:20 ,2015 نيسان 13

So in Lebanon, Hariri is intently and keenly interested in KSA being successful as this is his patron as well and if it loses in Yemen, then his patronage source is shaken. It is also why Hezbollah and Nasrallah are so intent on supporting the Houthis against the Royal Family as they see a decrease in Royal Family power as a gain for Iran and for themselves. Power in the ME is a zero-sum game that is played at the margins usually. The KSA gambit in Yemen, however, is not a marginal play, but a central one where the stakes are not marginal but existential to the Royal Family and their benefactors.

Thumb beiruti 16:24 ,2015 نيسان 13

And yes, now they stress Arab Unity over the Yemen affair so as to enlist underwriters to spread the risk of defeat. It is like an insurance syndicate that is assembled to absorb a potential loss in court. This way, the potential loss will not have one father, but many who may be the father.

Have you noticed that the common denominator in all of the armed conflicts raging in the region is -- ARMS. The Middle East produces oil, not arms. Arms are purchased with oil money. Who is gaining from the sectarian warfare in the region? Iran and the Shia? The Ikwan? the Wahabi? No, they are all the losers. The winners are the people selling weapons to both sides so that they will kill each other, create blood feuds and let the killing become generational. That way the children of the arms dealers can still make bank from the children of the Salafists, Wahabis, velāyat-e faqīhs killing each other ad infinitum with the finest weapons their oil money can buy.

(5). But you see, unlike you, I am a happy man, life is being good to me, so why get angry over a person that is such a chronic liar like you? Since you seem to have the resources to stalk people, me being one of them, why don't you also check my posts of hitherto in the LF forum, then to Sawte.com? You made me into all sorts of things, the best one my being a Palestinian whose mom is from a Christian sect, my bad, I seem to have quite a wild effect on your poor brains lately. But ya Roar, in the recent past, you threw jabs at me, I even then told you that I regarded you as a junior brother at the time, accepting in good grace your punches below the waist, interestingly enough, something your good old friend Aoun does a lot, right? But Ya Roar, I told you some weeks ago, and I will repeat it again to you, there is this thing about you and the very best word really I can find for it is the word CHEAP, very cheap.

(6). The Roar. You have this inherent cheapness about you, so much so that anything you touch, even diamonds, you will render cheap. It's so evident in your ways, in your attitude, in the way you parrot people when they criticize you, dunno my good friend, but this cheapness about you is not working in your best interest sorry. Now, you can say whatever you wish about me, you can try to dig whatever you wish on me, apparently your old friend Aoun did the same with Geagea and the LF a few years ago, about corpses buried under a certain highway, what did they find but more evidence of lies and fabrications by your old alter example Aoun? As I am trying best as IO could to help you elevate yourself above your cheap stances, above your cheap personality, above your cheap self-centered self, I just wanted to remind you, that is if you have it in you, to understand and accept, that this is a forum, one of the many forums you will find in the internet.

(7). The Roar. That in forums, one should expect all sorts of different opinions, and yes, you will find chronic liars like yourself too, but then, forums are forums. You cannot expect everyone to voice the same opinions and neither can you expect to go anywhere past the tip of your hooked nose should you wish to be so obnoxious with people. people will just look at you with a sense of laughter and just carry on. Several people have been fooling here, adding layer upon layer to that cheapness about you, in Arabic it's called, Rkhiss, Bala Imeh. Please, continue to attack me, or attack other people in this forum, your role is absolutely past any doubt now, you are a paid troll who is here to derail and remove us from our criticism of Aoun, of Hezbollah or of any side you deem you're part of. As you can see for yourself, this forum is doing well and is getting better too, so no matter what you will try, life goes on here.

(8). So finally for now that is, the arena is all yours, dig deep into your vocab of cheap words, describe me in your wildest ways, call me whatever you wish, sadly if not tragically for you, this man called The Phoenix is here to remain. you will open this forum every day should you wish, and you will see me criticizing your old man Aoun in my usual ways, and look, here is to fire you up, Aoun, Al Capaoun the Claoun, the boss of the Change and deform bloc. So ya Roar, now that you're fired up, go for it, invent, fabricate, create, jump as high as you can, do whatever you wish, the word CHEAP is stuck on your skin, nothing you will try can change that. Now I am going to see what new threads are up for today, feel free to follow me wherever you want.
