you should read up on what christians think of jews, go to poland and ask the catholics there what they think of jews. You should also learn of what jewish teaching think of christians and muslims. galaxy, you are exactly right, you didnt authorize any party to defend Beirut or Jounieh or any where else. But your authorization is not needed, thank goodness. What matters is that the Lebanese army has authorized such actions to defend the land. So you can go screaming and kicking all you want, but if you really supported the army then you would support its decisions on how it sees best fit to protect the land of the cedars.
