جزر مارشال ترشح السيد لتمثيلها في اليونيسكو والخارجية الفرنسية تلتزم الصمت

اعلنت متحدثة باسم منظمة اليونيسكو الاثنين ان دولة جزر مارشال رشحت لتمثيلها في هذه المنظمة اللواء اللبناني المتقاعد جميل السيد الذي اعتقل اربع سنوات في اطار التحقيق في اغتيال رئيس الوزراء الأسبق رفيق الحريري ورفاقه.
وقالت المتحدثة باسم المنظمة سو ويليامس لوكالة فرانس برس "بامكاني التأكيد ان حكومة جزر مارشال وجهت الينا رسالة تفيد بان هذا الشخص سيمثلها".
وكانت صحيفة لوفيغارو الفرنسية نقلت الاثنين ان "هذا الجاسوس السابق سيستفيد من الحصانة الدبلوماسية التي سيحصل عليها لتجنب احتمال ملاحقته من المحكمة الدولية الخاصة بلبنان" التي تنظر في اغتيال الحريري عام 2005.
ويؤكد جميل السيد دائما انه اعتقل تعسفا بين عامي 2005 و2009 اثر وشايات استهدفته في قضية الحريري.
من جهتها قالت وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية ردا على سؤال لفرانس برس ان "اليونيسكو هي التي تمنح الصفة الدبلوماسية".
وتتخذ منظمة الامم المتحدة للتربية والعلوم والثقافة (يونيسكو) من باريس مقرا لها ، والسلطات الفرنسية هي التي تمنح التأشيرة الدبلوماسية لمن تعتمده اليونيسكو.
ورفضت وزارة الخارجية الرد على سؤال حول ما اذا كانت السلطات الفرنسية يمكن ان ترفض اعطاء تأشيرة دبلوماسية لشخص قد يتم التحقيق معه في اطار محاكمة المتهمين باغتيال الحريري.
وكان الحريري اغتيل بتفجير شاحنة مفخخة في الرابع عشر من شباط 2005 ما ادى الى مقتله مع 21 شخصا آخرين واصابة 226 شخصا بجروح.
وباشرت المحكمة الدولية الخاصة بلبنان اعمالها في منتصف كانون الثاني الماضي ووجهت الاتهام الى اربعة عناصر من حزب الله بالتورط في عملية الاغتيال.

Be careful here. Before you make any conclusions, look at the history of relationship the Marshall Island and Israel. Then find out if they discuss the offer with the General Jamil Sayyed. Only then draw your conclusions. Though it seems that many of you, posting opinions here, prefer to fight each other and not face your real enemy. If the posting here indeed came from Lebanese people, and you they represent real sample pool of Lebanese society, as an outsider it saddens me. People, please put aside your trivial differences and work on the issues that you have in common. That is how great nations are from. Are you going to continue to defend the bomber and the sectarian agenda while your oil and gas is being pump by your enemies from under your feet?

Sur la question de l'immunité diplomatique que, selon Le Figaro, l'ancien général chercherait à acquérir, Akram Azoury indique que "les statuts du TSL ne reconnaissent aucune immunité, même à un chef d’État. Il s'agit d'un point essentiel ayant motivé la création de ce tribunal".
Le TSL est le seul tribunal pénal international créé pour juger les responsables d'une attaque terroriste et le seul pouvant juger des accusés en leur absence. Il a été créé par le Conseil de sécurité de l'ONU en vertu du chapitre VII de la charte des Nations unies, qui traite notamment de la paix et de la sécurité internationales.
De plus, poursuit Me Azoury, l'immunité d'un ambassadeur à l'Unesco n'a pas d'effet rétroactif et elle est limitativement liée au poste en question.

UNESCO is an organisation promoting peace and universal respect for human rights. This is a major insult to humanity.
UNESCO should reject his nomination !
