Six members of Libya's security forces who were apparently "executed" were among 11 people killed in clashes in Benghazi between protesters and a militia linked to the defense ministry, a medical examiner told Agence France Presse on Saturday.
"From the nature of the wounds it is clear that the six were executed," the medical examiner said on condition of anonymity, adding that four of them were shot in the head while the others were shot in the chest as well as the head.

Syrian rebels announced that their command center has been transferred from neighboring Turkey to inside Syria, in a video posted on Saturday.
"The Free Syrian Army command has moved into liberated areas of Syria following arrangements made with battalions and brigades to secure these zones," FSA chief, Colonel Riyadh al-Asaad, said in the video.

Twelve people were killed in renewed clashes between Shiite Zaidi rebels and Salafists in northern Yemen on Saturday, the second straight day of bloodshed, tribal sources said.
They died in fierce fighting in the streets of Reda in Amran province, some 80 kilometers north of the capital Sanaa, witnesses said, adding that few residents ventured out because of the clashes.

Israel has transferred to Egypt the bodies of three militants who killed an Israeli soldier in a cross-border raid, before being killed themselves, an Israeli military source said Saturday.
"Last night we handed over to Egyptian authorities the bodies of the three terrorists killed yesterday," the source told Agence France Presse, without elaborating.

Jordanian border guards clashed at dawn Saturday with armed men in a border area and arrested all of the gunmen, Information Minister Samih Maayatah said.

"We asked Google to block all links to this film in the kingdom and we have had a favourable response," said Communications and Information Technology Minister Atef Tel, quoted in Al-Dustur newspaper.

An Israeli war on Iran "will eventually happen" but the Jewish state will be destroyed as a result, the head of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards said on Saturday, according to reports.
"War will happen but it is not certain where and when," General Mohammed Ali Jaafari said, according to the ISNA and Fars news agencies.

Troops clashed with rebels near the center of Aleppo on Saturday as snipers sowed panic in Syria's second city, residents told Agence France Presse as monitors reported at least 85 people killed nationwide.
The fighting raged in Suleiman al-Halabi, one of Aleppo's main streets, and the army prevented residents from venturing in the area as steady gunfire rattled the district.

The U.N. and Arab League leaders on Friday discussed deadlocked efforts to end the Syria war and unrest sweeping the Muslim world over a film mocking Islam, a spokesman said.
U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon held talks with his Arab League counterpart Nabil al-Arabi ahead of the U.N. General Assembly next week when Syria is expected to dominate speeches by world leaders.
