Syria's government has reached an agreement for rebels to leave their battered holdout of Douma for an opposition-held town in the country's north, state media reported on Sunday.

Turkey on Sunday strongly condemned what it said was a chemical weapons attack in the Syrian city of Douma, saying there was a "strong suspicion" the regime of President Bashar al-Assad was responsible.

The head of the United Nations said on Sunday he was "particularly alarmed" by the alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians in Syria, during an attack that rescue workers said killed dozens of people. 

A suspected chemical attack in Syria's Eastern Ghouta sparked international outrage Sunday, as state media reported that the last rebel holdouts in the onetime opposition stronghold had agreed to evacuate.

State news agency SANA, citing a government source, said fighters with the Jaish al-Islam rebel faction had agreed to leave Eastern Ghouta's main town of Douma within 48 hours.

On Saturday evening "two suicide bombers disguised as soldiers entered the Al-Hal Party headquarters", one of most prominent parties in the Sunni-majority province of Al-Anbar, a local security official told AFP on the condition of anonymity. 

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Sunday there were "no naive people" in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip after days of protests and clashes left 30 Palestinians dead, including a journalist.

"There are no naive people in the Gaza Strip," Lieberman told Israel's public radio.
