All three hospitals in the historic city of Tyre have been damaged by strikes since the start of the latest war in early March.

A strike wounded 10 staff members of the Hiram hospital in the Lebanese city of Tyre on Thursday.

The Israeli army ordered Friday residents of Sarafand, Teffahta, and Mazraat Sinai in south Lebanon to evacuate ahead of strikes.

Strikes targeted Jebshit, Kfartebnit, Blat, al-Bayyad, Qalaway and Debbine, as Hezbollah claimed attacks overnight into Friday on Israeli troops and equipment in Yohmor-Shqif, Bint Jbeil, Naqoura, Qawzah, Rshaf, Zawtar and Tayr Harfa.

At a cemetery in southern Lebanon, Ghada Hussein clutched images of her son, a Hezbollah fighter killed in an Israeli strike and buried in a temporary grave because the family cannot return to her border village.

In a section just above the regular cemetery in Haret Saida, dozens of graves have been dug into the gravelly earth, many lined with cement blocks and holding coffins made with construction board.

President Joseph Aoun said Thursday that he would always choose the state and that Lebanon will not pull out of negotiations with Israel despite pressure.

"Our choice remains the State, as it protects us all, and we must be convinced that we are a sovereign nation," Aoun said.

The U.S. supports the Lebanese demands in direct talks with Israel in Washington, a senior political source said.

The source told Nidaa al-Watan newspaper, in remarks published Thursday, that the U.S. pressured Israel to retract a previously proposed draft declaration of intent, in favor of the Lebanese demands -- a comprehensive ceasefire before moving to the next pilot zone phase.

Hezbollah launched drones at Israel on Wednesday and Thursday, Israel's Foreign Ministry said, as it accused the group of serving Iran's interests.

"Yesterday evening and again this morning, the Iranian terror regime's proxy, Hezbollah, launched drones at Israel from Lebanon, in (a) blatant violation of the ceasefire," the Foreign Ministry posted on the X platform.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Youssef Rajji said Hezbollah is a military organization and there is no difference between its political and its military wings.

In an interview with the French news channel LCI, Rajji said that "distinguishing between the political and military wings of Hezbollah is completely unrealistic."

One person was killed Thursday and seven others were wounded in an Israeli strike on Abbasiyeh in south Lebanon. Another person was killed in West Bekaa in a strike on Sohmor.

Other strikes targeted Jwaya, Kfarshouba, Kfarjoz, Kfartebnit, Taraya, Deir Kifa, Majdalzoun, al-Mansouri, al-Qatrani, Shehabiyeh, Qalaway, Kherbet Selem, Deir Qanoun, Mashghara, Srifa, al-Henniyeh, al-Ghandourieh, Shoukine, Habboush, Toura, Tyre and Nabatiyeh.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday called on the Lebanese people to join Israel's fight against Hezbollah, saying their country had been taken "hostage" by the militant group.

"Israel is not at war with you. We are at war with Hezbollah, that has taken your country hostage... We yearn for peace with you, with Lebanon," Netanyahu said in a video statement directed at the Lebanese people.

Hundreds of people rallied on Wednesday evening in Beirut's southern suburbs, a Hezbollah stronghold, in support of Iran and its allies in the Middle East war, AFP correspondents said.

The rally came despite the ongoing war between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah, with Israel pounding south and east Lebanon daily and still occasionally striking Beirut's southern suburbs, known locally as Dahieh, most recently on Sunday.
