Iran Refuses to Fuel Some European, Arab Airlines

Iran is refusing to refuel some European and Arab airlines at its main international airport in a tit-for-tat move over major oil companies denying fuel to Iranian planes abroad, the airport's chief said Saturday.

"Government directives" ordered the ban, Morteza Dehqan, head of Tehran's Imam Khomeini international airport, told the ISNA news agency.

Huge Military Base Blast in Iran Kills Guards Commander, 16 Others

A massive explosion at a Revolutionary Guards base just west of the Iranian capital on Saturday killed 17 members of the elite force, including a top commander, officials said, revising the toll down from 27.

Iran to Give IAEA 'Full Supervision' if Sanctions Lifted

Iran is ready to give the International Atomic Energy Agency "full supervision" of its nuclear program for five years if U.N. sanctions are lifted, its nuclear chief said in remarks published Monday.

"We have proposed that the agency keep Iran's activities and nuclear program under full supervision for five years, providing the sanctions are lifted," the nuclear chief, Fereydoun Abbasi Davani, told ISNA news agency.

India Pays Iran Two Thirds of Oil Debt: Report

Iran has received "two thirds" of India's 4.8 billion dollar (3.3 billion euro) oil arrears piled up by sanctions-related payment problems, central bank head said Monday on ISNA news agency.

"Two thirds of the oil arrears owed to Iran by India have been received. The rest is on its way and there are no problems in this regard," Mahmoud Bahmani said.
