With a summer movie season packed with superheroes, monsters, sci-fi, and tons of CGI, it's nice to get a more traditional action movie to mix things up a bit. Starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, "2 Guns" is an entertaining flick that boasts two strong lead performances and a nice dose of humor, and while the plot gets a little convoluted near the end, it's still a consistently good time.

Joss Whedon says he's been enjoying trust as much as freedom from his partners on the much-awaited ABC sci-fi drama, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

The prolific Whedon said Sunday that both ABC and Marvel have been involved in getting what they want as the series takes shape, but he added he has been allowed to fulfill his vision.
