Kanye West has postponed his May tour of Australia so he can concentrate on new music.
West announced Tuesday that he'll postpone seven dates in five cities scheduled for May 2 to 11 until Sept. 5 to 15 because of "unexpected timing requirements" to finish his new album, expected to be released later this year.

Chris Brown's attorney has asked a judge to block an order that would transfer the jailed R&B singer to Washington, D.C., for his upcoming misdemeanor assault trial.
Brown is being held without bail and is due to go on trial on April 17 in Washington on the assault charge.

Amazon announced Tuesday it had secured the online streaming rights for the U.S. action hit "24" starring Kiefer Sutherland.
The online giant said it struck a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to be "the exclusive online-only subscription home for streaming all 192 episodes of the award-winning series."

The event was held for the occasion of Nawroz celebrations representing the Kurdish New Year. Talks are that a world record bonfire attempt is expected in 2015.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says 20-year-old transient Cruz Che is being held Monday on $50,000 bail. Deputies didn't know if he'd retained an attorney.

Johnny Depp showed off a diamond engagement ring that he called a "chick's ring" on Monday — indirectly confirming rumors of his engagement to actress Amber Heard.
Asked whether he was engaged, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star told The Associated Press: "The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle." He laughed as he lifted up his left hand and displayed a single diamond on a band around his ring finger.

Oprah Winfrey's former stepmother has been given extra time to vacate the $1.4 million home she once shared with the father of the iconic TV talk-show host.
Winfrey spokeswoman Nicole Nichols told The Associated Press in an email that Oprah's company has granted Barbara Winfrey 60 days to leave following her request for more time.

British actress Kate O'Mara, best known for her role in the 1980s soap opera "Dynasty," died Sunday at the age of 74, her agent said.
Phil Belfield said O'Mara died in a nursing home in southern England after a short illness.
