A 14-year-old boy was handed an 11-year sentence on Monday for stabbing his teacher in the stomach in a racially-motivated attack.

The teenager, who cannot be named due to legal restrictions, admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Vincent Uzomah at a school in Bradford, northern England.

There were fresh twists Thursday in the child sex abuse allegations against former British prime minister Edward Heath, with two key players denying claims about the late Conservative leader.

Four people died when a private jet crashed into a car auction site and burst into flames in southern England on Friday, police said.
