U.S. President Donald Trump left a G7 summit in Canada a day early on Monday, heading back to the White House as Israel and Iran traded missile fire for a fifth straight day.
Trump's helicopter lifted off from the summit venue in the Canadian Rockies to take him to his plane, shortly after he warned residents to evacuate the Iranian capital Tehran.

A Russian attack on Ukraine's capital killed at least 14 people, the head of Kyiv's military administration said Tuesday.

TIsrael's strikes on the headquarters of Iran's state television in Tehran killed three people, the broadcaster said on Tuesday, a day after the attack.

Iran said it destroyed strategic targets in Israel overnight using drones, as intense strikes between the arch-foes raged for a fifth day on Tuesday.

China on Tuesday accused President Donald Trump of "pouring oil" on the mounting conflict between Iran and Israel, after the U.S. leader warned Tehran residents to "immediately evacuate".
"Fanning the flames, pouring oil, making threats and mounting pressure will not help to promote the de-escalation of the situation, but will only intensify and widen the conflict," foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said when asked about Trump's remarks at a regular news conference.

Gaza's civil defense agency said Israeli forces on Tuesday killed at least 47 people gathered near an aid distribution site in Khan Yunis in the south.
Civil defense spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP that at least 47 people were killed and more than 200 wounded as thousands of Palestinians gathered to receive flour at a charity aid center in the morning. "Israeli drones fired at the citizens. Some minutes later, Israeli tanks fired several shells at the citizens, which led to a large number of martyrs and wounded," he said.

Israel's military urged residents of a northern district of Tehran to evacuate "immediately" on Monday, saying it intended to carry out air strikes there.
"In the coming hours, the (Israeli miliary) will operate in the area, as it has in recent days throughout Tehran, to strike military infrastructure of the Iranian regime", the military said in a post on X in Persian, indicating a part of Tehran's District 3 on a map and telling citizens to "evacuate the marked area" for safety.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Monday for an "immediate" end to fighting between Israel and Iran in a phone conversation, the Kremlin said.
"The leaders called for an immediate end to hostilities and the settlement of contentious issues, including those related to Iran's nuclear program, exclusively through political and diplomatic means," the Kremlin said in its readout of the call.
