Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate phone calls on the Strait of Hormuz with his Omani and Saudi counterparts Badr Al-Busaidi and Faisal bin Farhan, state TV said Tuesday.

The Saudi defense ministry said on Monday that its forces had intercepted and destroyed several drones launched from Iraqi territory targeting petroleum facilities.
The ministry went on to say the "terrorist attempts were launched from Iraqi territory and carried out by Iranian-backed terrorist militias", according to an official statement posted on social media.
