Berri Rejects Labeling his Sacrifice for Faisal Karami as ‘Charity’

Speaker Nabih Berri rejected labeling his sacrifice of one of AMAL’s Shiite seats in government for the Sunni figure of Faisal Karami as “charity”, reported the daily An Nahar on Saturday.
He stated: “Karami represented the entire passed Sunni opposition.”
Commenting on a mufti from the South’s statements that his sacrifice “broke the Berlin wall of sectarianism,” the speaker said: “This is my pledge to the Shiite sect.”
“I was certain that my step would be met positively,” he added.
“This sect that presented rivers of blood in its combat of Israel will not shy away from sacrificing a ministerial portfolio,” Berri stressed.

Mr Speaker Berry did a very honorable gesture , by giving a miniterial portfolio to Sunnis that goes to Shiias .
He did that gesture towards the Sunnis of the new majority and not the ones of Al Mustakbal , that are the opposition today .
With this honorable gesture , Speaker Berry saved Lebanon from a major political crisis , and saved the summer season for all the Lebanese .
Thank you Mr Speaker , thank you to all the Lebanese Shiias .

I seriously see people responding positively to a person who robbed and still is robbing Lebanon...and at the end...he speaks of sacrifice of the shiite sect... I would have loved him sacrifice his own position if he's so keen for sacrifice...This person along with hasan Nasrallah are criminals... and should be prosecuted... People like Saad Hariri should remain outside because it was never his country...(RIP Rafik Hariri)...and at the end people who remains outside their country like us should live and suffer from the things that are cripling and killing their country... SHAME...I am even sure if they know what that means...
