Israeli Cluster Bomb Injures 2 Lebanese in South

Two Lebanese men were wounded on Monday when a cluster bomb left over from the 2006 Israeli aggression on Lebanon exploded on the outskirts of the southern town of Houla.

The National News Agencies identified the men as 21-year-old Hassan Ali Mustafa and Dany Moussa Hussein, 36.

They were working in a tobacco field in the area of al-Slouqi when the bomb went off, NNA said.

They were taken to Mais al-Jabal hospital for treatment, it added.

The United Nations estimates that a million cluster bombs were dropped on Lebanon by Israel between July 12 and August 14 in 2006 in the wer with Hizbullah.
