Ali Meets Mansour: Lebanon Has Greater Obligation than Syria in Implementing Bilateral Agreements
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةSyrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali noted on Wednesday that the agreements between Lebanon and Syria obligate the two countries to respect them.
He said after holding talks with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour: “The greater responsibility however lies on Lebanon in implementing these agreements because arms are being smuggled to Syria and sometimes they are being smuggled through Lebanon.”
“Syria hopes that Lebanon will remain diligent of such activity because Lebanon’s security concerns us,” he added.
“The security of both countries is complementary,” stressed the ambassador.
“This has been stated by the Lebanese president, prime minister, and various officials and we hope the results would be better,” remarked Ali.
He added however that he has noted a keenness from the Lebanese and Syrian armies and officials on maintaining each side’s security.
Asked after the talks about MP Walid Jumblat’s recent criticism of Mansour over his position at the Arab League meeting on Syria, Ali replied: “Mansour does not need anyone to speak on his behalf.”
“This is a Lebanese matter and the foreign minister has stated his position,” continued the ambassador.
Jumblat criticized on Monday Mansour’s position on the Syrian crisis, saying that it is harming Lebanon’s credibility.
He said: “If only Lebanon’s envoy at the Arab League meetings would remain silent over the Syrian crisis instead of proposing solutions to the unrest.”
He added that Lebanon should also maintain its position of distancing itself from the Syrian developments instead of suggesting solutions to the crisis.
Mansour slammed the MP’s remarks saying that he does not need to be “lectured by anyone on democratic conduct.”
He said: “If silence is the golden rule, then all sides are better off keeping quiet.”
Cowards, indeed, are those who threw themselves into the arms of the Syrians at the height of their occupation and have chosen to fight the occupation after the occupation became no more! Let me just name a few of these cowards: Rafic Syria and his band of thugs, thieves and collaborators; Samir Geagea; Walid Jumblat. These are cowards who deserve to have their necks severed, or pulverized like the lowest of the low lives Rafic Syria, may he rot in hell.
“This is a Lebanese matter and the foreign minister has stated his position,” continued the ambassador (off course it is his position and it is not a reflection of the Lebanese mass)
Ya Mr asshole: Syria has never ever respected our soverignty nor integrity, so stop giving us lessons that you do not abide by till today.
Go and F... yourself, and advise your giraff and fatso to do the same
Ali keep your end of the deal by not smuggling weapons to the militia. Your borders are open to the selected people mainly the militia and some Palestinian factions whom you need to keep the Lebanese at Ransom.
i agree with ali that lebanon has obligation toward the syrian people, the same way the syrians were obligated to lebanon for 30 years.
Ya Habibi RokZobbo. The cowards my dear friend are the ones that supposedly fought the Syrian occupation and now defend them at all costs... I wonder how much they pay your 'heroes' to defend them so blindly and then turn a blind eye when something so blatant (like shooting 3 innocent Lebanese fishermen in LEBANON)? The cheap whores belong in Maameltein and not in Parliament
Ya Ali Abdulkareem al Baathy,
sidd boozak w hell 3anna!
sidd nee3ak w rja3 3a baytak!
sidd hanakak ila abad el abideen!
Ali, please do yourself and everyone of us a favor and go to hell...pass go...or go to Syria or Iran, and then go to hell....leave Lebanon alone and leave Lebanon as well, you bastard...
Lies and more lies from the evil regime, the regime who killed many Lebanese in the past and today at the borders in violation to the International laws for border crossing and shooting innocent people. Your regime has a history of violation on Lebanese soil and its day are counted. Where are the Lebanese in the Syrian prisons?
Who the hell are you to dictate and force yourself on the lebanese people?
Why dont you start packing and go back to your fox hole.
YOU ARE FIRED.
@ Everybody, Rokombo is no other then Le phenicien , disguised as usual with his 3 year old nicknames. I might remind him that Qornet Shehwan and the LF and the FPM ( back then ) were always critical of syrian opposition , thus Geagea was emprisonned because he didnt want to be a minister in a syrian cabinet. As well as others from Qornet Shehwan like Boutros harb or Gebran tueni or Nassib Lahoud. Those are honorable people and always had the same position towards the syrians and their poison thrown on Lebanon.
And now to comment on the story, Minister Ali, i suggest you keep out of our country's affairs, and take our foreign minister with you. He is a better man in Syria and not Lebanon as he speaks on your behalf. Do not threaten us mister Ali by saying our securities are linked, we all know that, specially when you keep firing on our people from the borders or kidnapp some. My advice to you, keep your filthy mouth shut and do not provoke the lebanese that already want revenge for the killings of our people you have done on the borders. Because you will suffer the consequences and they will be all ready next time to shoot your cowards of soldiers that kill little boys and unarmed fishermen.
Mr Ali first fullfil your obligations to your own people and stop getting sidetracked from the issues. It reminded me during the Lebanese civil war when our papers were talking about problems in the world when they hardly mentioned Lebanon. this is a all a distraction issue to get under some people feathers. And of course the assholes in Dahia are more than willing to listen. they don't have a choice anyway and the syrian people will march toward freedom. Unfortunately Hizbollah and the Syrians gov't is trying to create a civil war at our border in order to create more chaos. Syria is goign toward civil war and unfortunately so are we.
Rokombo everyone knows about the coward. In fact the poor French ambassador Rene Ala still gets a chill every time he thinks back to that phone call early 13/10/90 morn with a crying, horrified, terrified, girly girl voice begging him to save his life "just get me outta here Rene" and to hell with his wife, daughters, soldiers and citizens. Still today Mr Ala chest tightens every time he passes a Pissoir, it takes him back again to that 13/10/90 morning when a urine socked smelly camouflaged man stood, his legs shaking and his teeth chattering, at the door of the French embassy then fell in his arms sobbing.
no M8 supporters to comment? strange isn t it!
oh yes i suppose they thank ali for his orders
Israel will not let Assad fall. They cannot dream of a better neighbour. Since the occupation of the Golan, not a single stone thrown in this region. Both countries are living in peace and harmony. They made a deal based on the golan in return of the nizam. Assad still barks that he wants the Golan, just to keep his followers beleive in his fake resistance.
Still talking about tea? Who worked hand in hand with Syrian regime for decades while they were killing kidnapping, imprisoning, stealing & destroying for longer & with greater intensity than even the Zionist enemy!
AMAL, (inc Nasrallah since he was with these clowns then) Marada SSNP(including nahas which is a known Marxist) ADP Bathists etc
