Berri stressed that parliament will remain active despite the boycott by the opposition March 14 alliance.......
Is that the same Berri who shut the doors of Parliament for years? Now he morphed into a someone concerned about serving the people. Poor Lebanon, poor Lebanese.

Yes I observed one difference. Back then you did not object to him shutting it locked for years, in fact you supported him. While now you are objecting M14 boycotting parliamentary committees and supporting Berri again...... the difference is called HYPOCRISY on your part.

“The authority given from the people to the lawmaker does not give him the right not to attend the work of parliamentary committees,” MPs quoted Berri as saying during his weekly meeting with lawmakers.

“He has to do his job,” Berri said after the March 14 coalition criticized him for calling on rapporteurs to lead the meetings of the committees in case their heads boycotted the sessions.

it's so funny and sad at the same time Mr Berri that you didn't think the same few years back when you decided to keep the parliament shut for a long long time just because it suited you then. what a joke you are

The fault is really not on Berri, Hizbullah or Aoun. The fault is and will always remain on M14. They were the ones that allowed Berri to keep his chair, they were the ones that accepted concessions in the government when they really didn't have to.

Agree that was a big mistake.

The government cannot and will never be a productive place where you have political feuds to settle. The place for political feuds is the house and the parliment.

Regarding M14 boycotting the Parliment, ofcourse why not? Heck I don't think even going for election while the other side holds weapons against you, and your political heads are being assassinated by a *mysterious force* that does not kill but M14 politicians is a fair election.

There will be no true democracy or a fair political ground until weapons are separated from politics and political parties. Hizbullah cannot be military group and run in the elections. It's like allowing Generals in the Army to run for parliment and rule the government (granted there has been times where they are allowing the General of the Army to run for President but thats in unique situations, but it shouldn't be allowed either).

did we hear berry make that same call when his friends shut down the parliament? never... now he is posing as a defender of institutions? LOL! M8 hypocrisy at its best....
