The cafeteria at the Lebanese University's Hadath branch was closed on Friday due to the various violations being committed there, reported the National News Agency.
The violations included the selling of waterpipes in violation of the non-smoking law imposed in the country.
Media reports said that the army entered the university campus overnight on Thursday in light of several complaints over the violations at the cafeteria.
They said that the army arrested all who were found to be linked to the infringements.
MTV had aired a report on Tuesday speaking of the selling of mobile phones and waterpipes by members of the Zoaiter family at the cafeteria.
