A 10-year-old Lebanese boy was released on Monday after security forces and Army intelligence besieged his kidnappers in the eastern city of Baalbek, the state-run National News Agency reported.
NNA said that Hussein Samaha, who was kidnapped in the town of Shamstar west of Baalbek on Saturday night, was set free in Iaat valley after the abductors came under the pressure of the armed forces.
Police and the Army had discovered the parties behind the abduction and set up several checkpoints in the area.
The agency did not give further details except for saying no ransom was paid in exchange for Samaha's release.
