President Michel Suleiman is likely to postpone the national dialogue session until after Independence Day on November 22, reported the Kuwaiti al-Anba daily on Sunday.
It attributed the delay to Mustaqbal bloc head MP Fouad Saniora's inability to attend the scheduled November 12 session because of his presence abroad at the time.
The former premier will be on a trip to the United States at that date where he is set to present a lecture at Harvard University.
Suleiman reportedly complied with Saniora's request to postpone the dialogue session out of his desire for all members of the all-party talks to attend the meeting.
The last dialogue session was held on September 20.
