An Middle East Airlines flight arrived from Abidjan at Beirut airport at dawn on Friday with 244 Lebanese expatriates onboard, reported the National News Agency on Friday.
Another flight from Iran’s Mahan Air also arrived from Abidjan with 195 passengers and six children onboard.
Both MEA and Mahan airlines are set to transport more Lebanese expatriates to their homeland.
MEA planes are heading twice a day to the Ivory Coast airports to transport as much Lebanese expatriates as possible.
Moreover, an MEA plane flight carrying the Lebanese Foreign Ministry delegation and a number of ambassadors and advisors arrived from Abidjan Thursday night.
The plane also carried 224 Lebanese citizens onboard.
